  • Patent number: 11974919
Abstract: Delivery devices for delivery of a stented prosthetic heart valve. Various delivery devices include an outer sheath assembly including an outer sheath connected to a capsule that is advanced proximally to retain the prosthetic valve, which is secured over an inner shaft assembly of the delivery device. The delivery device further includes a bumper to provide a smooth transition of the capsule over the prosthetic valve during loading and recapture procedures. The bumper is expandable from a first position to a second position in which a distal end of the bumper is expanded to increase its diameter. The bumper can be biased in the second, expanded position so that the bumper automatically transitions to the expanded position upon retraction of the outer sheath.

  • Publication number: 20240143905
Abstract: A method for partially publishing edits to a document is described. A first document including a first cell and a second cell is displayed on first user account on a first computing device and on a second user account. A second document including a linked version of the first cell and a linked version of the second cell is displayed. An edit of the first cell is received from the first user account and an edit of the second cell is received. In response to receiving an indication from the first user account that the edit of the first cell is to be published, the edit of the first cell is made to the linked version of the first cell, while the linked version of the second cell is unchanged so that the content of the linked version of the second cell no longer matches that of the second cell.

  • Publication number: 20240123182
Abstract: Aspects of an expandable sheath can be used in conjunction with a catheter assembly to introduce a prosthetic device, such as a heart valve, into a patient. Such aspects can minimize trauma to the vessel by allowing for temporary expansion of a portion of the introducer sheath to accommodate the delivery apparatus, followed by a return to the original diameter once the prosthetic device passes through. Some aspects can include a sheath with a tubular inner liner wound in a spiral configuration such that a plurality of protrusions is disposed in an overlapping portion of the sheath. The disclosed sheath is configured to expand from a predetermined rest diameter dr to an expanded diameter de during application of a radial outward force by passage of a medical device through the sheath.

  • Patent number: 11940084
Abstract: A monolithic metal thermal insulating sleeve liner for fluid flow devices such as valves and piping used in severe industrial applications is additively manufactured (e.g., by 3D printing) to fit the bore of a protected fluid flow device. Tessellated support structures obliquely extending between inside surfaces of inner and outer shells provide increased resistance to thermal conduction while also providing increased strength against compression forces. Example support structures include an array of four obliquely oriented elongated members mutually intersecting mid-way between the inside surfaces of inner and outer cylindrical shells. If internal interstices are sealed they can be vacuumed or pressurized to enhance thermal insulating properties. A pressure equalizing aperture can be provided on or through the sleeve if needed in some applications.

  • Publication number: 20240090089
Abstract: A method of forming a heater assembly of an e-vaping device includes bending a wire to form a first lobe and bending the wire to form a second lobe. The first lobe and the second lobe form a generally sinuously-shaped heater having a first set of lobes and a second set of lobe. A first apex of the first lobe is generally opposite a second apex of the second lobe. The method may also include curling the first set of lobes towards the second set of lobes to form a heater having a substantially tubular form. The heater defines an opening there through.

  • Publication number: 20240075791
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for maintaining a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in a vehicle. Factors associated with operation of an HVAC system in a vehicle are monitored. Input data generated by monitoring the factors are applied to a machine learning model. The machine learning model is configured to predict a health of the HVAC system in relation to the operation of the HVAC system in the vehicle. An output of the machine learning model that is indicative of the health of the HVAC system is accessed. Information associated with a likelihood that the HVAC system will fail in relation to a specific time is identified based on the output of the machine learning model.

  • Publication number: 20230376389
Abstract: Methods and systems to detect a metastable condition and suppress/mask a signal during the metastable condition. The metastable condition may arise from asynchronous sampling. Techniques disclosed herein may be configured to enable asynchronous lock-stepping, where outputs of redundant circuit blocks of a first clock domain are received at input nodes of a second clock domain. In the second clock domain, logic states at the input nodes are compared to detect errors, and results of the comparison are masked during transitions at the input nodes. Masking may be constrained to situations where logic states at the input nodes differ.
