  • Publication number: 20120199206
Abstract: A direct metering fuel supply system includes a fuel pump, a burn flow fuel line, a servo flow fuel line, and a servo regulator. The fuel pump is adapted receive pump commands representative of a commanded fuel flow rate and is configured, in response to the pump commands, to discharge fuel at the commanded fuel flow rate. The burn flow fuel line is in fluid communication with the pump to receive a first portion of the fuel discharged therefrom. The servo flow fuel line is in fluid communication with the pump to receive a second portion of the fuel discharged therefrom. The servo regulator is mounted on the servo flow fuel line and configured to maintain fuel flow rate in the servo flow fuel line at a substantially constant fuel flow rate regardless of fuel flow rate in the burn flow fuel line.

The tibial implant includes an upper surface, a medial side, a lateral side and a first locking structure provided on the upper surface where the medial side and the lateral side of the tibial implant are defined by a medial-lateral midline. The tibial insert includes a second locking structure provided on its bottom surface. The first and second locking structures are configured for engaging each other along an engagement direction vector when the tibial insert is inserted into the tibial base towards the posterior side. • Publication number: 20100050593
Abstract: A flow equalizing override assembly is provided for use in conjunction with a gas turbine engine (GTE) and a fuel divider system. In one embodiment, the flow equalizing override assembly includes a housing assembly, a fuel divider (FD) valve, a remotely-actuatable valve, and a controller. The FD valve includes: (i) a piston slidably disposed within the housing assembly and movable between a default position and a flow equalizing position, and (ii) a control chamber defined by the piston and the housing assembly. The remotely-actuatable valve is fluidly coupled to the control chamber and is configured to selectively adjust the fuel pressure therein. The controller is configured to command the remotely-actuatable valve to adjust the pressure within the control chamber such that the piston moves from the default position to the flow equalizing position after ignition of the GTE.

  • Publication number: 20100037612
Abstract: A fuel divider system includes a housing assembly and a flow passage network having an inlet, a primary outlet, and a secondary outlet. A fuel divider piston is slidably disposed within the housing assembly and movable between a flow biasing position and a flow equalizing position. A control chamber is fluidly coupled to the flow passage network and fluidly communicates with the piston. An inlet chamber, at least partially defined by the piston and the housing assembly, is fluidly coupled to the inlet. At least one channel is provided through the piston and configured to cooperate with the flow passage network to port the FD control chamber to: (i) the fuel pressure at the secondary outlet when the FD piston is in the flow biasing position, and (ii) the fuel pressure within the inlet chamber when the FD piston is in the flow equalizing position.

  • Publication number: 20070077992
Abstract: A computer implemented method, a data processing system, and computer program product are provided for monitoring user game-playing behavior and reporting game play data in a gaming environment. A software agent is provided for monitoring gaming characteristics of the user responsive to a launch of a game by a user. The software agent also identifies a game state based on the gaming characteristics. The software agent collects game play data of the user if the game state is changed, and reports the game play data for processing.

  • Publication number: 20070077993
Abstract: A computer implemented method, a data processing system, and a computer program product are provided for collecting user game play data and crediting users in a gaming environment. The aspects of the present invention install and activate a software agent on a client prior to launching a game. The software agent collects game play data of a user on the client if a game state changes. The collected game play data is accumulated locally and sent to a server remotely for processing when the user is online. In turn, the aspects of the present invention credit a user account of the user based on the collected game play data.

  • Publication number: 20060241634
Abstract: An anti-backout stylus comprising a stylus and a locking stylus holder. The locking stylus holder engages the stylus at a series of discrete positions during insertion of the stylus into the holder. The locking stylus holder prevents inadvertent backing out of the stylus by preventing the stylus from being withdrawn to a previous one of the discrete positions. The locking stylus holder can preferably be selectively disengaged from the stylus to allow for selective withdrawal of the stylus. Each engagement of one of the discrete positions by the locking stylus holder preferably indicates a femoral size. The discrete positions are preferably defmed by detents formed on the stylus and a stop member on the locking stylus holder. The locking stylus holder can be provided on an anterior rough cut guide, with the anterior rough cut guide preferably mountable on an intramedullary rod.

  • Publication number: 20050203664
Abstract: An alignment tool, method and system are provided for aligning a cassette handler to a robot blade in a workpiece handling system, in which the tool comprises a frame or fixture adapted to be supported by the cassette handler support surface, in which the frame has one or more distance sensors positioned to measure the distance of a workpiece or robot blade from the sensor or a predetermined reference point or surface. In a preferred embodiment, the frame emulates a workpiece cassette and the distance sensors provide a numerical output of the distance to the workpiece. As explained in greater detail below, these distance measurements facilitate accurately leveling and aligning the cassette handler support surface relative to a workpiece supported by the robot blade such that when the frame is replaced by an actual workpiece cassette, the workpiece cassette will also be level and aligned with respect to the robot blade and the workpiece held by the blade.

  • Publication number: 20050096747
Abstract: A knee prosthetic including a tibial component defining medial and lateral concavities shaped to receive medial and lateral femoral condyles of the femur. The concavities have first portions for contact with the condyles during normal knee flexion and second portions for contact with the condyles during deep, or high, knee flexion. The medial concavity can include a conforming boundary that encompasses at least the first and second portions, wherein an area inside the conforming boundary has a generally flat surface. The flat surface allows the medial femoral condyle to slide and rotate posteriorly during high knee flexion. The conforming boundary can have a generally triangular shape with an apex extending anteriorly and a relatively wider base extending posteriorly, wherein the apex includes the first portion and the base includes the second portion. The relatively wider base portion advantageously allows additional area for posteriorly directed articulating contact during high knee flexion.
