Publication number: 20250150824Abstract: Various arrangements for wireless network provisioning using a pre-shared key (PSK) are presented. Wireless network access profiles that indicate PSKs may be stored. An access point may receive, from a wireless device, a value based on the PSK, which is then transmitted to a provisioning system. Values based on the PSKs of the wireless network access profiles can be created and a match with the transmitted value can be identified. Data is provided to the access point based on the PSK of the wireless network access profile. Network access can then be granted.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 13, 2025Publication date: May 8, 2025Inventors: Edward W. Neipris, Joshua David Wade, Tyler Nesper

Patent number: 12231884Abstract: Various arrangements for wireless network provisioning using a pre-shared key (PSK) are presented. A plurality of wireless network access profiles that indicate a plurality of PSKs may be stored. An access point may receive, from a wireless device, a first value based at on the PSK. The access point can transmit the first value to a cloud-based provisioning system. A plurality of values based on the plurality of PSKs of the plurality of wireless network access profiles may be created and a match between a second value of the plurality of values and the transmitted first value may be identified. A third value may be provided to the access point based on the PSK of the wireless network access profile of the plurality of wireless network access profiles used to generate the value. Network access can then be granted based on the third value.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 2022Date of Patent: February 18, 2025Assignee: DISH Network L.L.C.Inventors: Edward W. Neipris, Joshua David Wade, Tyler Nesper

Publication number: 20240388093Abstract: A system for accounting for and allocating energy value amongst (i) energy equivalent quantity (EEQ) suppliers associated with supplier accounts and that contribute EEQ to a total energy supply and (ii) energy consumers associated with a consumer account and that issue energy demands for energy. An energy cloud value allocation system (e-cloud) facilitates and controls an exchange of EEQ and energy between the EEQ suppliers and the energy consumers. The e-cloud receives EEQ contributions from the EEQ suppliers and generates energy credits, where a value of each energy credit is based on the EEQ contribution. The e-cloud is also configured to receive energy demands from the energy consumers and to satisfy the energy demands by delivering energy and EEQ to the consumers. Finally, the e-cloud generates energy debits, where a value of each energy debit is based on the EEQ that is delivered to the energy consumer from the e-cloud in response to energy demands.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 17, 2024Publication date: November 21, 2024Applicant: Electric Power Board, an Independent Board of the City of ChattanoogaInventors: David Wade, Jim Ingraham

Publication number: 20240217851Abstract: An autonomous water treatment system can include a vessel comprising one or more thrusters, a base, and a dome. The base and the dome can form a housing when attached to each other, and the thrusters can be configured to rotate to steer the vessel. The treatment system can include solar panels mounted on an exterior surface of the dome, and batteries disposed inside the housing. The batteries can be recharged by energy generated by the solar panels. The treatment system can include a gas infusion system disposed inside in the housing. The gas infusion system can be configured to receive a flow of water from a body of water, infuse said flow of water with oxygen, remove dissolved nitrogen from said flow of water, and return the oxygen infused water to the body of water under pressure to propel the vessel along the body of water.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 15, 2023Publication date: July 4, 2024Inventors: Mark Max MacKenzie, David Wade Campbell

Publication number: 20240121609Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory, machine-readable media may facilitate wireless network provisioning. In one example, a method for provisioning wireless network access to a wireless device includes: creating, in a cloud-based provisioning system, a wireless network access profile that includes a user identifier associated with the wireless device, receiving, on an access point, an authentication request sent from the wireless device, identifying, by the cloud-based provisioning system, the wireless device based on the user identifier associated with the wireless device, performing, on the cloud-based provisioning system, WPA3-based authentication to authenticate the wireless device, and providing, by the access point, network access to the wireless device.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 29, 2023Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: Edward W. Patent number: 11731757Abstract: An aircraft uses trajectory-based control algorithms for blade pitch (or twist). This approach greatly enhances the ability of the actuator to accurately achieve the desired blade pitch and to track the commanded pitch position. An actuator includes an electronic rotor blade controller that converts communicated or desired changes in pitch (or similar parameter) to actual physical effects that match the desired changes as closely as possible. The controller preferably includes a motor drive circuit, such as an h-bridge, a communication circuit for connection to external commands, and a processor with associated enabling circuitry (e.g. memory, I/O) to coordinate and implement the control.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2021Date of Patent: August 22, 2023Inventors: Thomas Karl Berger, David Wade Milanes, James Stewart Robertson
