  • Publication number: 20220075795
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing in-flight transformations of data streams. Complex event processing (CEP) operating on event records from various data streams can operate by storing the streamed event record data in a database, and then querying the data to perform a data transformation. However, in order to improve the performance of the data transformations and streamline CEP, a serverless architecture is introduced that can perform data transformations directly on streams, using attributes of the streamed record data defined in a schema. The resulting transformed data can then be provided by the serverless architecture to the CEP for direct access of the data most needed by the CEP.

  • Publication number: 20220061233
Abstract: A collapsible and height-adjustable plant shade is an apparatus that readily extends and retracts around a plant or multiple plants in order to protect the plant or multiple plants from extreme weather. The apparatus includes a scaffolding and a mesh covering. The scaffolding includes a plurality of length-adjustable legs, a collapsible lateral frame, and a roofing frame. Each of the plurality of length-adjustable legs may vary in height in order to accommodate uneven terrain. The collapsible lateral frame connects the plurality of length-adjustable legs with each other and mounts the roofing frame onto the plurality of length-adjustable legs. The mesh covering encloses the scaffolding and shields the plant or multiple plants. The apparatus further includes a plurality of extension lateral panels in order to account for any distance between the mesh frame and the ground due to varying heights of each of the plurality of length-adjustable legs.

  • Publication number: 20210373975
Abstract: A processing system monitors and synchronizes parallel execution of workgroups (WGs). One or more of the WGs perform (e.g., periodically or in response to a trigger such as an indication of oversubscription) a waiting atomic instruction. In response to a comparison between an atomic value produced as a result of the waiting atomic instruction and an expected value, WGs that fail to produce a correct atomic value are identified as being in a waiting state (e.g., waiting for a synchronization variable). Execution of WGs in the waiting state is prevented (e.g., by a context switch) until corresponding synchronization variables are released.

  • Publication number: 20210369683
Abstract: The disclosure provides methods of treating a patient having primary hyperoxaluria or idiopathic hyperoxaluria comprising administering a therapeutically effective amound of compound of the formula and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, solvates, and hydrates thereof to the patient. The variables, e.g. ring A, n, R, R3, R10, X, Y, and Z are defined herein. These compounds act as lactate dehydrogenase inhibitors and are useful inhibiting the conversion of glyoxylate to oxalate. When administered to a patient having a disease or disorder associated with elevated oxalate levels, such as PH type 1, type 2, or type 3 or idiopathic hyperoxaluria the compounds prevent or substantially reduce the amount and buildup of oxalate the patient's kidneys, bladder, urinary tract and other parts of the patient's body.

  • Publication number: 20210353672
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition for administration to ruminant animals in their drinking water to reduce transport stress. The composition comprises a carbohydrate capable of acting as an energy source and/or carbon source for amylose degrading bacteria such as dextrose, a source of magnesium and selected trace elements. The composition is effective in stimulating cellulose digestion in the rumen, in an increasing net available energy and reducing physiological stress. In turn, this leads to greater disease resistance and calmer animals as well as a greater utilisation of the available diet, or creates an energy sparing effect for existing diets.

  • Patent number: 11174607
Abstract: A method for collecting garbage from a surface includes providing a motor-sweeper including a sweep broom. A rear guide is provided between the sweep broom and the collecting container extending downwards from the collecting container close to the sweep broom. The sweep broom rests with the guide assembly onto the surface, and the sweep broom is rotated in order to collect and convey the garbage into the collecting container. The rotation of the sweep broom causes the garbage to be swept forwardly and upwardly with respect to the forward motion of the motor-sweeper. In response to the bristles of the sweep broom wearing, the sweep broom is moved toward the surface and the guide assembly and the rear guide are moved towards the sweep broom so as to maintain uniform spaces between the sweep broom and the guide assembly, and the sweep broom and the rear guide.

  • Publication number: 20210347446
Abstract: An assembly includes a fin and a fin mounting box for a water sports board. The mounting box is mounted to the board and has an outwardly facing channel formed therein. The fin includes a fin base and a body extending from the base. The fin base is shaped to be received in the channel. The channel includes channel engagement formations, and the fin base includes corresponding fin base engagement formations which engage the channel engagement formations when the fin base is inserted into the channel so as to retain the fin to the mounting box. The assembly includes a locking tab received in the channel to prevent movement of the fin base in the channel and disengagement of the corresponding channel and fin base engagement formations.

  • Publication number: 20210338609
Abstract: The present invention is concerned with increasing protein intake in a ruminant animal by supplementing the diet of the ruminant animal with urea phosphate. There can also be supplementation with a water soluble sulfur-containing salt such as ammonium sulfate. Urea can be administered together with urea phosphate. The composition provides a slow release form of urea that avoids inducing ammonia toxicity in the animal and is water soluble for administration to the animal in drinking water.

  • Publication number: 20210157485
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for performing pattern-based cache block compression and decompression. An uncompressed cache block is input to the compressor. Byte values are identified within the uncompressed cache block. A cache block pattern is searched for in a set of cache block patterns based on the byte values. A compressed cache block is output based on the byte values and the cache block pattern. A compressed cache block is input to the decompressor. A cache block pattern is identified based on metadata of the cache block. The cache block pattern is applied to a byte dictionary of the cache block. An uncompressed cache block is output based on the cache block pattern and the byte dictionary. A subset of cache block patterns is determined from a training cache trace based on a set of compressed sizes and a target number of patterns for each size.

  • Publication number: 20210141495
Abstract: Presented here is a system and method to bridge the gap between the disparate platforms, and to allow the user to interface with the disparate platforms using a natural language interface. The system can improve user interface for electronic devices because the user does not have to switch between the disparate platforms. Instead, the user can interact with the disparate platforms through a single natural language interface. The disparate platforms, some of which may not have a natural language user interface, can be enabled to interact with the user through the natural language interface when the system interfaces between a natural language processing platform and the remainder of the disparate platforms.
