Publication number: 20260041292Abstract: A surface cleaning head with dual rotating agitators (e.g., a leading roller and a brush roll) may be used to facilitate capturing of debris in the air flow into a suction conduit on the underside of the surface cleaning head. The leading roller is generally positioned adjacent to and in advance of the opening of the suction conduit. The rotating brush roll may be located in the suction conduit with the leading roller located in front of and spaced from the brush roll, forming an inter-roller air passageway therebetween. The leading roller may provide a softer cleaning element than the brush roll and may also have an outside diameter that is less than the outside diameter of the brush roll. The surface cleaning head may also include debriding protrusions contacting the leading roller and/or a leading bumper that extends in front of the leading roller.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 21, 2025Publication date: February 12, 2026Inventors: Steven Paul CARTER, Adam UDY, Catriona A. Patent number: 12546727Abstract: Methods and systems for calibrating simulated measurement signals generated by a parametric measurement model are described herein. Regression on real measurement signals is performed using a parametric model. The residual fitting error between the real measurement signals and simulated measurement signals generated by the parametric model characterizes the error of the parametric model at each set of estimated values of the one or more floating parameters. Simulated measurement signals are generated by the parametric model at specified values of the floating parameters. A residual fitting error associated with the simulated measurement signals generated at the specified values of the floating parameters is derived from the residual fitting errors calculated by the regression on the real measurement signals. The simulated measurement signals are calibrated by adding the residual fitting error to the uncalibrated, simulated measurement signals.Type: GrantFiled: September 11, 2023Date of Patent: February 10, 2026Assignee: KLA CorporationInventors: Brian C. Publication number: 20250344918Abstract: A cleaning apparatus includes a combing unit including a series of spaced protrusions or teeth extending into a cleaning roller for preventing build up and removing debris (such as hair, string, and the like). The protrusions extend along a substantial portion of the cleaning roller and extend partially into the cleaning roller to intercept the debris as it passes around the roller. The protrusions have angled leading edges that are not aligned with a rotation center of the cleaning roller and are directed into or against a direction of rotation of the cleaning roller. The combing unit and protrusions have a shape and configuration designed to facilitate debris removal from the cleaning roller with minimal impact on the operation of the cleaning apparatus. The cleaning apparatus may include a surface cleaning head of an upright vacuum cleaner or sweeper or a robotic vacuum cleaner.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 22, 2025Publication date: November 13, 2025Inventors: Jason B. Publication number: 20250018432Abstract: Read events capturing parcel information as a parcel is transported through a facility is received, and a configuration file mapping readers capturing the read events to workspace locations within the facility is accessed. Utilizing the read events and configuration file, one or more locations are determined for a parcel being transported through a facility. The locations may form a most likely path, or sequence of locations, through the facility. The determined locations may be utilized for generating one or more graphical user interface elements for tracking parcel and/or other operational aspects. For example, a graphical user interface may indicate errors, such as errors in the parcel's path and slowdowns, detected from the read events. Additionally, volume of parcels over time may be determined from the read events. Further, a graphical user interface may indicate employee performance based on errors and/or read events attributed to the employee.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 27, 2024Publication date: January 16, 2025Inventors: Mallory FREEMAN, Timothy Major, David Wu, Lauren Skorb, Matthew Britton
