    Abstract: Microelectronic devices include a lower deck and an upper deck, each comprising a stack structure with a vertically alternating sequence of insulative structures and conductive structures arranged in tiers. First and second arrays of pillars extend through the stack structure of the lower and upper decks, respectively. In one or more of the first and second pillar arrays, at least some pillars exhibit a greater degree of bending away from a vertical orientation than at least some other pillars. The pillars of the first array align with the pillars of the second array along an interface between the lower and upper decks. Related methods are also disclosed.

    Abstract: A Method and System for coordinating help to an individual experiencing a medical emergency from their designated Emergency Care Team (ECT). The location of the Person in Distress (PID) and all of their emergency contacts is determined. A real time audio video conference is created which enables the PID and all members of the ECT to communicate. Real time vital signs from the PID's wearable health monitor is streamed to all participants. The PID's medical history is temporarily unlocked and provided on demand to the ECT members. The ECT members participate as available with no single person or call center coordinating this effort. Additional participants may be added to the conference at the discretion of the ECT members including, but not limited to the E911 operator for the PID's locale, the PID's medical providers, other individuals from the PID's contact list, or other individuals as may be deemed important to the response.

If the controller finds the electronic key fob to be absent from the vehicle, then the controller authorizes starting of the vehicle based on detection of a keyless authority indicator. A vehicle configured to be started by an electronic key fob includes the system with the controller that implements the method.

    Abstract: In one embodiment, a method includes accessing a window of motion data collected by a motion sensor of a device worn by a user and selecting motion data in the window about or more particular axes of the motion sensor. The method further includes determining a ballistocardiogram (BCG) signal in the selected motion data and determining whether the BCG signal in the selected motion data satisfies a signal-quality metric. As such, the process may automatically process the image into relevant textual information about the pictured items. A carbon content of the one or more surface regions of each optical device structure is reduced by at least 50% by the plasma.
