  • Patent number: 11992131
Abstract: An adjustable seat assembly may have a seat back that is configurable in a fore position or a stern-facing seat, an aft position for a bow-facing seat, and a pillow position which facilitates a user laying down across the stern-facing seat. In addition, the seat back may be placed in a stowed position in which the seat back is absent from both the bow-facing and stern-facing seats, such that the seats cooperate to provide a planar support surface along an aft-to-fore extent of the seat assembly. The seat back may be adjustable by hand without tools, such that a user may easily reconfigure the seat assembly to sit facing the bow, to sit facing the stern, or to lie down.

  • Patent number: 11997741
Abstract: A connectivity monitor of a vehicle determines current and/or future states of antennas. A workload monitor of the vehicle receives execution criteria for different workloads to be executed. An intelligent connectivity engine at the vehicle receives the current and/or future states of the antennas and the execution criteria for the respective workloads. Based on the current and/or future states of the antennas and the execution criteria for the respective workloads, the intelligent connectivity engine assigns at least one of the respective workloads for current execution and at least another of the respective workloads for future execution. A client may use an intelligent connectivity service to configure various aspects of the vehicle connectivity. For example, the client can provide workload recommendation code for the intelligent connectivity engine to assign workloads for current or future execution.

  • Patent number: 11996264
Abstract: A sample mount having a bottom surface, a front surface, and a second portion is disclosed. The first portion is perpendicular to the bottom surface. The second portion has an external surface and an internal surface and extends from the first portion to form a 70-degree angle relative to the bottom surface. The sample mount may also have a top surface, an opening extending through the second portion of the front surface, and a receiving area configured to receive a sample, wherein the top surface presents an unimpeded path between the sample and an SEM pole piece. The sample mount may include a spring-loaded handle configured to push the sample against the internal surface of the second portion of the front surface, wherein pushing the sample against the internal surface places the sample at the 70-degree angle relative to the bottom surface.

  • Patent number: 11996790
Abstract: A circuit for generating electrical energy is disclosed. The circuit uses a pulse generator in combination with a conductor. Waste heat can be converted to usable energy due to a cooling effect of the circuit on the conductor. A resultant energy applied to a load is larger than the energy supplied by the pulse generator due to the absorption of external energy by the conductor.

  • Patent number: 11995984
Abstract: According to the disclosed approaches, a first processor receives location messages from second processors. Each location message specifies published geographical coordinates that indicate a geographical location. The first processor accesses subscriptions to location topics in response to the location messages. The first processor determines whether or not the published geographical coordinates match any of the subscribed-to geographical coordinates. Matching location messages are transmitted to one or more third processors identified by the subscriptions.

  • Patent number: 11995126
Abstract: A system for enforcing projection constraints on data values stored in specified variables of a shared dataset of a cloud data platform. A request is received from a first account of the cloud data platform that identifies a first operation to be performed on the shared dataset. A first set of data, including data accessed from a first variable, is accessed from the shared dataset to use in performing the first operation. A projection constraint policy attached to the first variable of the shared dataset is determined, and the projection constraint policy is further determined to be enforced based on the request. Based on the first set of data and the first operation, an output to the first request is generated.
