  • Patent number: 10490099
Abstract: A system, process and software that incorporate the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying a condition that causes an impaired perception of an original media content item during a presentation. A media content modification is determined, wherein application of the media content modification to the original media content item results in a modified media content item. The modified media content item, when presented to the media presentation device, ameliorates the impaired perception of the media content item. The media content modification is applied to the original media content item resulting in the modified media content item. The modified media content item is presented at the media presentation device contemporaneously with the original media content item, allowing different viewers to observe the modified media content item simultaneously with the original. The method also includes receiving data corresponding to a plurality of inventory bookings associated with the inventory. A subset of time slots that are assigned to a digital display of a plurality of networked digital displays may be identified by the server based on the data corresponding to the plurality of bookings. Media content that is assigned to each slot of the subset of time slots is identified by the server. The method may further include generating, based on slot criteria corresponding to the subset of time slots, a schedule template that defines a rotation loop. The media content is displayable on the digital display at times defined by the display rotation loop. The schedule template is transmitted to the digital display via a network.

  • Patent number: 10486958
Abstract: A follower plate and an apparatus that uses the follower plate to force a viscous material to flow from a storage container. The follower plate includes a cylindrical outer body, a sealing element, and a material saving insert in which a plurality of ribs forms annular concentric slots having a length (L) that runs from the outer edge of the insert to an inner hub. Each slot further exhibits a width (w) that remains substantially the same along its length (L). Each slot further comprises a depth that is variable and tapers along its length (L), such that the depth of the slot approximate to the outer edge (do) is less than the depth of the slot approximate to the inner hub (di). The width and depth of the slots are configured so that any viscous material that has not been dispensed from the storage container resides within the slots.
