    Abstract: An information handling system peripheral camera is built by inserting a subassembly into a cylindrical housing and enclosing the subassembly with a bezel at the front and cover at the rear. The cylindrical housing is extruded with aluminum to have seams formed along the length of the interior. The seams provide alignment of the subassembly and are machined at the front and rear to form threads that accept screws to couple the bezel and rear cover to the cylindrical housing. To hide the screws, a back plate couples over the rear cover and an opaque treatment is applied to a circumference of a cover glass placed over the bezel.

In an alternative embodiment, a rotating shutter arrangement selectively covers the camera for security and also covers a microphone to provide security against unauthorized audible access through the camera.     Abstract: An information handling system keyboard couples upper and lower housing portions to each other to capture a key detection sensor, such as a keyboard membrane, aligned with keys that accept end user inputs. The upper and lower housing portions have rail guides formed along their perimeter so that a rail couples to the guide rails to hold the upper housing over the lower housing and capture the keyboard keys and membrane. To recycle the keyboard, the rails are removed and the keyboard components are removed without any screws or adhesives included in the keyboard so that the components are readily reused or recycled.

One example display assembly with higher recycled plastic content while maintaining sufficient plastic strength is an assembly having an external frame having 70% recycled PC ABS mixed with 30% fresh PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide), a diffuser optical film having 60-80% recycled PET mixed with fresh PET, and a light guide path (e.g., plate) having 70% recycled PC mixed with fresh COP (Cyclo Olefin Polymers). The stiffness strength of the display assembly may further be improved by laminating the display assembly with biodegradable adhesives and/or edge-bonded with ultrasound or laser fusion.
