  • Publication number: 20230177878
Abstract: Systems and methods of converting text into learning videos and assessments in different languages are described. A system receives content in a first language, then conducts a sentiment analysis in that first language. The system then translates the content into a second language, and generates (via a text-to-speech algorithm) second language speech based on the translated content. The system transliterates the second language speech into the first language, producing one or more visemes, and determines facial expressions of an animated avatar speaking the second language speech using the sentiment analysis results and the one or more visemes. The system then generates an animated presentation with the animated avatar having the facial expressions while speaking the second language speech.

  • Publication number: 20230180051
Abstract: A method and a system for steering traffic in a wireless network. The method and system include an ingress point and an egress point of the wireless network with a plurality of paths between the two points. A plurality of hops are located along the plurality of paths. The plurality of paths may be bound as a single pipe at a logical level. The system may determine a quality of experience (QOE) score. Automated steering policies may be based on the QOE score. Traffic may be steered at each hop based on the automated steering policies. The QOE score may be determined by measuring bandwidth, loss, latency, and jitter at each hop. A customer may provide prioritization at an application level and the automated steering policies may also be based on the customer prioritization.

  • Patent number: 11669400
Abstract: The disclosed enhancements optimize the use of the live browse cache and pseudo-disk storage areas, improving metadata handling so that it can be used more effectively to speed up live browse and file indexing of backup copies in a data storage management system. The enhancements operate granularly to identify within each extent being backed up smaller sectors that comprise metadata. The disclosed approach pre-fetches the metadata of the backup copy before allowing the file scan of the file indexing and/or the live browse operation to proceed. The backup operation, the file indexing operation, and the live browse operation are enhanced to handle the more granular metadata sectors without changing the granularity of the full extents generated and stored in the backup.

  • Patent number: 11669733
Abstract: Disclosed is a processing unit for computing a convolution of an activations matrix (e.g., a N×N activations matrix) and a weights kernel (e.g., a M×M weights kernel). The processing unit specifically employs an array of processing elements and a hardware-implemented spiral algorithm to compute the convolution. Due to this spiral algorithm, the need for a discrete data setup logic block is avoided, activation values from the activations matrix can be pre-loaded into processing elements only one time so that the need to repeatedly access the activations matrix is avoided, and the computation can be completed in a relatively low number of clock cycles, which is independent of the number of activation values in the activation matrix and which is equal to the number of weight values in a weights kernel. Also disclosed is an associated processing method.

  • Patent number: 11669300
Abstract: Systems and methods for wake word detection configuration are disclosed. An electronic device may be configured to detect a wake word in a user utterance based on one or more wake word models. Upon detection, wake word APIs may be utilized to determine if a speech-processing application associated with a remote speech-processing system is installed on the device. If installed, secondary wake word detection may be performed on the audio data representing the user utterance, and if the wake word is detected, the audio data may be sent to the remote system for processing. If not installed, a display of the electronic device may present options for downloading the speech-processing application.

  • Patent number: 11671362
Abstract: The techniques described herein enable the establishment of two simultaneous virtual private network (VPN) connections between a VPN gateway and a VPN client. The system is configured to update a routing table advertised to network resources when a VPN server instance fails and/or is taken offline. When a first VPN server instance fails and/or is taken offline, the first VPN server instance releases a claim of ownership on its range of IP addresses. After this release occurs, the second VPN server instance is configured to claim ownership of the range of IP addresses that used to be owned by the first VPN server instance. This updated claim of ownership is captured in an updated routing table that can then be advertised to the network resources. Consequently, the network resources use this updated routing table to correctly determine which VPN server instance to send data intended for the VPN client.
