  • Patent number: 12353552
Abstract: A disaster recovery site storage array causes an instance of a host application or selected executables running on a host server to validate changes to an asynchronously updated replica of a storage object. Snapshots of the replica are generated before and after each set of changes to the replica are received from a remote storage array. Validation is performed by mounting snapshots to the instance of the associated host application and causing the host application instance to validate the data. If a snapshot is determined to be invalid, then the replica to recovered with the most recent known-valid snapshot. Alternatively, if each set of changes is validated prior to being applied to the replica, invalid changes are not applied to the replica. Unvalidated snapshots may be accumulated and validated independently from application of sets of changes to the replica, thereby decoupling validation from replication.

  • Publication number: 20250219943
Abstract: An enhanced router is described that improves network performance for AI workloads by providing in-network primitives that improve the performance of operations such as Broadcast and Reduce operations. The enhanced router is configured to execute primitives for data payloads in packets associated with the workloads in the network prior to forwarding the packets to hosts. The network device receives, via a control plane, a primitive indicative of an analytical, computational, or transformative operation to be performed on data payloads transmitted by data packets associated with a workload being processed in an SDN. The primitive is associated with a protocol for configuring network devices to perform in-network acceleration of workloads in coordination with source and destination hosts in the SDN.

  • Publication number: 20250219942
Abstract: An enhanced router is described that improves network performance for AI workloads by providing in-network primitives that improve the performance of operations such as Broadcast and Reduce operations. The enhanced router leverages the observation that operations such as the Broadcast and Reduce primitives are more performant (e.g., reduced latency and bandwidth) when performed in the network rather than in graphics processing unites (GPUs) or central processing units (CPUs) which are often deployed as leaf nodes in a typical network topology in a datacenter.

  • Publication number: 20250217344
Abstract: A database system detects an operation to move a first database object from an in-memory store to a persistence store, wherein the first database object is in either a page-loadable or column-loadable format in the in-memory store, and wherein the first database object comprises a plurality of subcomponents. Each subcomponent of the first database object is examined separately from other subcomponents of the plurality of subcomponents. In response to determining that a first subcomponent of the plurality of subcomponents has a datatype and a compression type supported by a unified persistence format, the first subcomponent is stored in a unified persistence format in the persistence store. In response to determining that a second subcomponent of the plurality of subcomponents has either a datatype or a compression type which is not supported by the unified persistence format, the second subcomponent is stored in a serial persistence format in the persistence store.

  • Patent number: 12346820
Abstract: The systems and methods disclosed herein receive alphanumeric characters defining operative boundaries for expected model use cases, along with operational data. The expected model use cases share common attributes, which are used by a first AI model to construct observed model use cases from the operational data. Each observed model use case includes features such as a text-based description, expected input and output, AI model(s) generating the expected output from the input, and/or data supporting the AI models. For each observed model use case, a second AI model maps the alphanumeric characters and features to a risk category, selecting from multiple risk categories based on the level of risk associated with the features. The system identifies criteria for the observed model use case within the alphanumeric characters and generates gaps by comparing the criteria with the features of the observed model use case.

  • Patent number: 12347463
Abstract: Read and write transducer elements have very high reliability for most of their respective lives. Only a small percentage of transducer elements fail after a significant duration of operation in the field, but failure rate ramps up significantly with as the transducer elements age, particularly with heavy read and write use. Prior solutions to this problem involve regularly running data field integrity checks. However, the data field integrity checks are resource intensive and yield significant latency impacts. The presently disclosed technology renders data field integrity checks (that come with high latency costs) dependent upon periodic or continuous head health monitoring schemes (that come with low latency costs). The data field integrity checks are triggered by a “poor health” signal generating from the head health monitoring schemes rather than being continuously or periodically performed with no regard to projected head health.
