Abstract: A sanitary barrier includes an annular sheet, a C-shaped skirt, an inner shield, and an outer shield. The annular sheet has a first surface and second surface. The C-shaped skirt integrally extends from an inner periphery of the annular sheet and hangs when unsupported and the sanitary barrier is in a horizontal position. The inner shield is formed at a mouth of the C-shaped skirt and integrally extends from the inner periphery of the annular sheet past an inner perimeter of the C-shaped skirt. The outer shield integrally extends from an external periphery of the annular sheet opposite the inner shield. The sanitary barrier hangs inside a toilet and over a front of the toilet to protect a man's phallus and pelvic region while sitting down.
