  • Publication number: 20240120086
Abstract: A portable communication apparatus including a wireless transceiver, a video display screen, a camera, a speaker and a microphone, some or all mounted in a case having a first portion and a second portion. The video display screen is mounted to the second portion with a viewable region of the video display screen facing away from the second portion. The first and second portions are pivotably attached to one another at a first case end. When the first and second portions are in a closed configuration they form an enclosed chamber in which the video display screen is positioned. When the first and second portions are in an opened configuration the first portion is positioned beneath the second portion. A hanger is mounted to the second portion near a second case end that is opposite the first case end to hang the case.

  • Patent number: 10662347
Abstract: Methods for preparing copolymeric emulsions from at least one water soluble monomer and at least one water insoluble monomer are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, one or more surfactants and stabilizers may be used. In some embodiments, the monomers used in the process include, by total monomer weight, at least 50% water soluble monomers and at least 10% water insoluble monomers. Copolymer emulsions formed from the reaction product of at least one water soluble monomer and at least one water insoluble monomer are also disclosed along with articles coated with such emulsions and coating formulations made from such emulsions as well as methods for the manufacture and coating of such articles.

  • Patent number: 6355723
Abstract: A molded article suitable for direct application of a reflective metal coating includes an amorphous thermoplastic or thermoplastic blend having a glass transition temperature greater than about 170° C. and at least one thermally stable colorant that contributes to the article's dark appearance. The article has excellent dimensional stability, and the surface to which a metal coating can be applied exhibits low gloss. Application of a metal coating to the molded article produces a metalized surface with high total reflectivity, low diffuse reflectivity, and low haze. Compositions and methods for forming the article are described.
