Abstract: A child swing including a support stand, a swing frame mounted on the support stand for reciprocating swinging movement along a swing arc in a forward swing direction and an opposite rearward swing direction, a base pivotably coupled to the swing frame for angular movement about a pivot axis between a forward-facing position facing in the forward swing direction and a side-facing position facing in a side direction extending at an angle to the forward swing direction, and a child seat coupled to the base to pivot therewith relative to the swing frame.

Abstract: A movable storage container is provided for use under a piece of furniture having at least one leg. The container includes a frame, a basket mounted on the frame for movement therewith, and a hinge. The basket is formed to include an item-storage region therein. The hinge is formed to pivot about an axis of a leg of a piece of furniture and coupled to the frame so that the frame end basket are movable as a unit relative to the piece of furniture about the leg.

Abstract: An end frame assembly includes an outer frame, a lower support attached to the outer frame, and a plurality of spindles attached between the outer frame and the lower support. Heat deformable connectors are disposed between the outer frame and the lower support subsequent to painting the outer frame, lower support, and spindles. A plurality of rivets are used to connect the outer frame to selected spindles.

Abstract: A child swing motor apparatus includes a swing motor and a mechanism for using energy discharged from the swing motor to swing a child seat hanging from a child swing frame. The apparatus also includes an indicator for visually indicating the remaining run time of the swing motor during running of the swing motor to swing the child seat. The swing motor includes a spring and a spring winding mechanism. An escapement mechanism is also provided to impart pendulum motion to the swinging child seat using torque generated by the spring.

Abstract: A foldable stroller is provided for transporting a child. The stroller has a seat unit including a rigid panel-like seat bottom and back joined together with a collapsible frame assembly. A control hub is provided to enable a user to release the back and then move the back with one hand from its normal upright position forwardly toward the seat bottom to collapse the seat unit and frame into a compact folded stroller.

Abstract: A lock-release mechanism is mounted on the back of a foldable high chair to control relative movement between the chair back and the underlying seat and leg assembly. In use, the bolt-release mechanism can be actuated manually to permit the high chair to be folded from an unfolded use position to a partly folded safety stop position and a fully folded storage position.

Abstract: A landfill leachate collection and removal system in combination with a leachate and leakage detection system has been developed which includes a leachate collection sump intended to receive all of the rain which falls within the confines of the landfill. This rainfall may flow across the landfill floor to a sump or it may "leach" downward through waste into a drainage media and on to the sump. Further downward percolation of water is prevented by a first liner. The landfill system includes a leak detection sump system, intended to collect only that leachate which passes or leaks through the first liner. Both the collection and detection sumps are fabricated for examples, from high density polyethylene. Both sumps are perforated at definite elevations and both sumps rest in a concrete basin. A second liner lies between the sump bottoms and the concrete basin and the first liner is preferably welded to flanges on the sumps.
