Patent number: 12530025Abstract: Techniques for providing a user interface for remote vehicle monitoring and/or control include presenting a digital representation of an environment and a vehicle as it traverses the environment on a first portion of a display and presenting on a second portion of the display a communication interface that is configured to provide communication with multiple people. The communication interface may enable communications between a remote operator and any number of occupants of the vehicle, other operators (e.g., other remote operators or in-vehicle operators), and/or people in an environment around the vehicle. The user interface may additionally include controls to adjust components of the vehicle, and the controls may be presented on a third portion of the display. Furthermore, the user interface may include a vehicle status interface that provides information associated with a current state of the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2023Date of Patent: January 20, 2026Assignee: Zoox, Inc.Inventors: Auver Cedric Austria, Timothy David Kentley-Klay, Jannie Wing Sze Lai, Frank Reinaldo Ramirez, Dennis Schaefer

Patent number: 11854318Abstract: Techniques for presenting a user interface on a display for monitoring and/or controlling a vehicle. The user interface may include a digital representation of an environment in which the vehicle is operation. Additionally, the user interface may include system interface that is configured to display one or more notifications associated with systems or components of the vehicle. The system interface may additionally, or alternatively, comprise one or more control inputs for controlling systems or components of the vehicle. The user interface may also include a mission interface that includes a map interface and a mission selection interface for selecting routes the vehicle is to navigate. The user interface may additionally cause presentation of visual indicators that indicate the presence of an object that is not shown on the user interface, but that is moving in a direction such that the object will soon be visibly displayed on the user interface.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2020Date of Patent: December 26, 2023Assignee: Zoox, Inc.Inventors: James Peter Gregory, Rose Lin, Dylan Phan, Dennis Schaefer, Lilith Rogue Automata

Patent number: 11353877Abstract: Techniques to provide guidance to a vehicle operating in an environment may include determining a suggested region to block in the environment along a path of the vehicle and causing presentation of the suggested region to block in a user interface of the computer device. Information about the blocked region may be transmitted to one or more vehicles in the environment. Based on the information about the blocked region, at least one of the computer device or a vehicle computer system of the vehicle may control operation of the vehicle to avoid the blocked region.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2019Date of Patent: June 7, 2022Assignee: Zoox, Inc.Inventors: Ravi Gogna, Meredith James Goldman, Edward William O'Donnell, Frank Reinaldo Ramirez, Dennis Schaefer, Wenhao Sheng, Matthew Miller Young

Patent number: 6055162Abstract: A DC-DC voltage converter 40, which is adaptable to VHF operation, has a power oscillator 52 to which a filtered input DC voltage 50 is applied for conversion to an output DC voltage. The power oscillator includes a push-pull amplifier 58, 60 and an impedance transformation circuit 62 to which the amplifier is connected. The power oscillator also includes a rectifier circuit 64 which is connected to the impedance transformation circuit. A feedback circuit 68 controls the frequency of the oscillator to regulate the output DC voltage. The oscillator frequency depends on the impedance values of oscillator circuit components and the values of a plurality of oscillator component intrinsic parameters.Type: GrantFiled: March 12, 1998Date of Patent: April 25, 2000Assignee: Northrop Grumman CorporationInventors: Albert G.
