  • Publication number: 20070182820
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a sensor or camera system that can be readily mounted to the existing hitch socket of an automobile such as an SUV, minivan or RV. The system also can use the existing hitch wiring for its power source. The sensor or camera system can fit into any automotive hitch system, whether the hitch is factory-installed or after-market. The installed sensor, camera, or illuminating devices can be easily secured or locked by a hitch pin or hitch locking pin. For simplicity, the overall system will be generally referred to, in the following description. It should be apparent to those skilled in the art that the detection system may include sensors, cameras or both.

  • Publication number: 20060260223
Abstract: An interlocking system of frames for floor or wall tiles. The frame has a base frame with a lid surrounding its perimeter. The lid serves to fill the gap between frames after the tiles are installed, as well as provide lateral stability to the tiles. The bottom of the base frame has an array or grid of support legs. On at least one side of the perimeter, the base frame has a plurality of bosses or slotted connectors extending outwardly from the base frame, which can be used to make connection with the support legs of another base frame. A filler, or divider, frame of a given shape, e.g. “+” or “#”, is used to guide the placement of the tiles onto the base frame, as well as fill the gap between the tiles. Notches are formed on the base frame to securely engage the filler frame. One set of notches are formed through the surface of the base frame's planar body, while the other set of notches are formed on the inside surface of the lid of the base frame.

  • Patent number: 7004842
Abstract: A compound driveshaft assembly includes a first driveshaft section that is connected through a front stub shaft to an inner race of a constant velocity universal joint. The constant velocity universal joint includes a unitary outer race and splined member having an outer race portion that is disposed about the inner race and a splined portion that extends axially rearwardly from the outer race portion. The unitary outer race and splined member is formed from a single piece of material, not from an assembly of two or more separate components. A plurality of balls provide a driving connection between the outer race portion of the unitary outer race and splined member and the inner race. The splined portion of the unitary outer race and splined member is connected for rotation with a rear stub shaft. To accomplish this, the rear stub shaft includes a splined portion that cooperates with the splined portion of the unitary outer race and splined member.

  • Publication number: 20050205729
Abstract: An adjustable support tool for either vertical or horizontal mounting. The adjustable support tool comprises a rod slidably received by a tube. The rod has depressions formed thereon. A threaded portion is coupled to the tube and a hand grip tightener is turnable engaged to the threaded portion for adjusting their overall length. A ratchet housing is resiliently engaged to the hand grip tightener. The ratchet housing has a ratchet for securerly engaging to one of the depressions, a wheel spring for rollably engaging to another one of the depressions, a safety lock pivotally engaged to the ratchet housing for prevent access to the ratchet when locked. When the rod is slided, the wheel spring pushes up the ratchet from its underside to loosen its engagement. The loosened ratchet allows the rod to slide more smoothly, while protecting the painted surface on the rod. Both the ratchet and threaded portion provide adjustment to the overall length of the support tool.

  • Patent number: 6273584
Abstract: A Christmas light tree composed of a central post and a plurality of supporting rings surrounding the central post is disclosed. The Christmas light tree includes a central post that has a plurality of sections detachably connected to each other. The central post has top and bottom ends, which the top end is attached with a top supporting ring and the bottom end is attached with a stand. A star-shape member containing bulbs therein is attached to the top supporting ring. A number of supporting rings arranged separately in the same axis with the top supporting ring. Each supporting ring has a different diameter and the diameter of the supporting rings increases from the top supporting ring to the bottommost supporting ring. A wire net attached with numerous bulbs is attached and fixed on the supporting rings making the decorative light net looks like a Christmas tree.
