  • Publication number: 20120234306
Abstract: There is provided an oven having an oven door assembly connected to a housing. The housing surrounds an oven interior and has an opening into the oven interior. The door assembly has an oven access door that covers the opening in the housing in a closed position. The oven access door moves in a first direction from a closed position to an open position uncovering the opening into the oven interior. The oven has a depth in the closed position. The oven access door moves in the first direction from the closed position to the open position within substantially the same depth of the oven in the closed position.

  • Publication number: 20120180775
Abstract: Conveyor oven that uses three or more cooking zones to provide flexible baking solutions in a commercial kitchen environment. The flexibility of each zone is achieved by providing variable air velocities in the impingement jets in each zone. By increasing or decreasing the air velocity in the zone the operator can control the heat transfer rate to the food product in that zone without having to actually adjust the temperature of the oven. The airflow rate in the zones is controlled via the operator controller.

  • Patent number: 8163489
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an efficient, high speed production scale synthesis method for high molecular weight organic substances, such as DNA. The invention includes a method of conducting a polymerase chain reaction which comprises transporting a liquid through polymeric tubing disposed through a first reaction cycle region and at least a second reaction cycle region, each of which regions comprises at least a first and a second temperature zone, the temperature in each zone of said at least second region being substantially identical to the corresponding first and second zones in said first region, wherein said liquid is an aqueous solution comprising polymerase chain reaction reactants and a surface absorbing polymer.

  • Patent number: 7992590
Abstract: A faucet including a spout body formed of metal and having an inlet end, an outlet end and a chamber extending between inlet and outlet ends. A tube formed of a non-metallic material is enclosed within the chamber and has receiving and dispensing ends. Tube defines a passage extending between receiving and dispensing ends. Receiving end is in fluid communication with water source to communicate water through passage. An inlet coupling formed of a non-metallic material and having an inlet opening extending therethrough is molded about receiving end such that receiving end is sealingly received within inlet opening. An outlet coupling formed of a non-metallic material and having an outlet opening extending therethrough is molded about dispensing end such that dispensing end is sealingly received within outlet opening. Inlet and outlet couplings are sealingly coupled to inlet and outlet ends of spout body, respectively.

  • Patent number: 7871020
Abstract: A faucet spray head having a volume control mechanism allowing the user to adjust the flow of water through the spray head from a full-spray to full-stream and to a paused flow and flow levels therebetween. The volume control mechanism illustratively includes a spring-activated safety mechanism that prevents the user from inadvertently leaving the faucet head in an off position, thereby preventing the mixing or backing up of hot water into the cold water supply.
