  • Patent number: 8264542
Abstract: A system for image processing is provided. The system includes a region of interest (ROI) module receiving video from a camera and detects a ROI(s) in a first image. A lookup table generates a value responsive to block type for a first vanishing point (VP). A labeling module identifies a point “p” most close to the first VP, a point “q” most remote to the first VP and a length “h” between “p” and “q” in each ROI(s), and generates information on p, q and h. Another lookup table generates information on p?, q? and h?, wherein p? is a point most close to a second VP, q? is a point most remote to the second VP and h? is a length between p? and q? in ROI(s) in the second image. A transforming module transforms ROI(s) in the first image into an ROI in the second image.

  • Publication number: 20120221332
Abstract: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for referring to entities. The method includes receiving domain-specific training data of sentences describing a target entity in a context, extracting a speaker history and a visual context from the training data, selecting attributes of the target entity based on at least one of the speaker history, the visual context, and speaker preferences, generating a text expression referring to the target entity based on at least one of the selected attributes, the speaker history, and the context, and outputting the generated text expression. The weighted finite-state automaton can represent partial orderings of word pairs in the domain-specific training data. The weighted finite-state automaton can be speaker specific or speaker independent. The weighted finite-state automaton can include a set of weighted partial orderings of the training data for each possible realization.

  • Publication number: 20120215337
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method. The method includes gathering advanced process control (APC) data from a subset of available wafers and a subset of available processing chambers. The method includes establishing a matrix that contains a plurality of cells. The cells each correspond to one of the available wafers and one of the available processing chambers. The matrix is partially filled by populating cells for which the APC data has been gathered. The method includes determining a plurality of chamber-coverage-rate (CCR) parameters associated with the matrix. The method includes optimizing the CCR parameters through an iteration process to obtain optimized CCR parameters. The method includes predicting an APC data value for a designated cell of the matrix based on the optimized CCR parameters. The designated cell is an empty cell before the predicting and is populated by the predicting.

  • Publication number: 20120215351
Abstract: A system and method for controlling avoiding collisions and deadlocks in a workcell containing multiple robots automatically determines the potential deadlock conditions and identifies a way to avoid these conditions. Deadlock conditions are eliminated by determining the deadlock-free motion statements prior to execution of the motions that have potential deadlock conditions. This determination of deadlock-free motion statements can be done offline, outside normal execution, or it can be done during normal production execution. If there is sufficient CPU processing time available, the determination during normal production execution provides the most flexibility to respond to dynamic conditions such as changes in I/O timing or the timing of external events or sequences. For minimal CPU impact the determination is done offline where many permutations of programming sequences can be analyzed and an optimized sequence of execution may be found.
