  • Publication number: 20060282486
Abstract: An hand held implement which includes an integral preprogrammed electronic calculator. The implement is preset to perform one or more calculations which utilize known scientific formulas and mathematical relationships and which rely upon specific variables for which values are input by the user through the use of the various input command control devices and may be reused for further serial calculations. By preprogramming the implement with the related formulas for a given field of technology, the user may perform one or even a series of related and useful calculations without the need for any additional calculators, charts, tables or other printed materials. The surfaces on the implement may also be used for the imprinting of graphical or advertising material for the purpose of advertising or promotion.

  • Publication number: 20060235329
Abstract: A folding reflex hammer includes two pivotally connected legs, one of which has the reflex testing head mounted on its inwardly facing side. The hammer is well suited to being carried by a physician or technician in any pocket due to its relatively small size when folded. In further embodiments, the folding reflex hammer may include the reflex testing device on one folding leg while the second folding leg may include additional functional implements, such as a writing implement. Other secondary implements, such as a neurological probe, may further be located within or may extend outwardly from the reflex testing head leg end. The hammer, having numerous large and generally flat sides, may further include imprinted areas for the purposes of advertising or promotion.

  • Publication number: 20060223378
Abstract: The invention is a recharging unit having an efficiently designed recharging base and at least one rechargeable implement, which also serve as an advertising means. The recharging base has two electrical prongs on the rear surface and at least one orifice on at least one outer surface of the base into which the rechargeable implement can be inserted for recharging. Each of the orifice lies completely within the surface where it is, and is configured to retain securely a rechargeable implement even in an inverted position. The recharging base is shaped and the electrical prongs are positioned and oriented such that when the recharging base is inserted into one socket of a common two socket electrical outlet, it does not block the second socket, thereby permitting both sockets to be accessible for concurrent use.

  • Publication number: 20060146653
Abstract: A timing device including a primary audio signal and a secondary visual signal feature which is released upon expiration of the desired time sequence and will thereupon extend outward from the timer body. The audio and visual signal features may be activated independently or simultaneously, at the user's selection. The function of this timer is also entirely mechanical, thereby rendering the device highly useful for the hearing impaired, compatible with a broad spectrum of environmental conditions, capable of long life operation and completely portable and self powered. The outer surfaces of the timing device, having relatively smooth surfaces, are well-suited for application of art work, logos and graphics for advertising and promotional purposes.
