    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a digital-to-analog conversion circuit, where the digital-to-analog conversion circuit includes a signal amplitude detector and a digital-to-analog converter. When the signal amplitude detector detects a low signal amplitude, a first current module in the digital-to-analog converter operates normally and a second current module in the digital-to-analog converter stops operating. In addition, when stopping operating, the second current module is in a state of a third bias voltage and a fourth bias voltage that are generated by a second bias circuit. When the amplitude detector detects a high signal amplitude subsequently, the second current module resumes normal operation. After operating normally, the second current module switches back to a first bias voltage and a second bias voltage that are generated by a first bias circuit. This reduces a nonlinearity problem caused before a second current module resumes normal operation.

    Abstract: Various embodiments provide novel tools and techniques for position and/or motion tracking, including without limitation solutions that can be used for excavation and similar applications. In a particular aspect of some embodiments, a communication device with a camera may be provided to track the position and motion of a stick of an excavator or reference features located on a stick of an excavator. A location of a bucket of an excavator may then be calculated relative to the stick or reference features on the stick of the excavator. Thus, an operator of the excavator can use the communication device to effectively and efficiently track the location of the excavator bucket without the need for a second person to provide instructions about the location of the bucket.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for data reduction including organizing data of an event stream into a file access table concurrently with receiving the event stream, the data including independent features and dependent features. A frequent pattern tree (FP-Tree) is built including nodes corresponding to the dependent features according to a frequency of occurrence of the dependent features relative to the independent features. Each single path in the FP-Tree is merged into a special node corresponding to segments of dependent features to produce a reduced FP-Tree. All path combinations in the reduced FP-Tree are identified. A compressible file access template (CFAT) is generated corresponding to each of the path combinations. The data of the event stream is compressed with the CFATs to reduce the dependent features to special events representing the dependent features.

The method includes processing, by the processor, the OS-level events stored in the priority queue in the prioritized order to provide a set of potentially anomalous ones of the OS-level events within a set amount of time. The method includes generating, by the processor, a dependency graph showing causal dependencies of at least the set of potentially anomalous ones of the OS-level events, based on results of the causality dependency analysis.     Abstract: A system and method for real-time remotely (i.e., at least several miles away) monitoring MOV surge arresters conditions is provided along with a method and circuitry for sensing the total leakage current of a surge arrester in a power grid. Leakage current circuitry may include a MOV arrester leakage current sensing block having shunt circuitry formed using a biasing resistor, one or more opto-couplers that isolate the radio module system from the MOV arrester stem line and monitors the total leakage current and other states of the primary stage, and a mini ZOV that acts as a surge protection device. The outputs of the opto-couplers can be set up to provide a linear or digital output or both to a communications network. The communications network can transmit a signal corresponding to a fault state of a surge arrester to a remote central control center.

    Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the field of synthetic crystal, and more particularly, this invention relates to doped low-temperature phase barium metaborate single crystal, growth method and frequency-converter. Molten salt method was adopted. The single crystal completely overcome the shortcomings of BBO with strong deliquescence, almost no deliquescence; its frequency doubling effect and optical damage threshold has improved greatly compared with the BBO; its hardness increased significantly, the single crystal with Shore hardness of 101.3 and Mohs hardness of 6, however, BBO with Shore hardness of 71.2 and Mohs hardness of 4. From the UV-Vis region transmittance curves tests, the cut-off wavelength of the single crystal is 190 nm, wavelength of absorption onset is 205 nm. BBSAG is widely applied in the fields of laser and nonlinear optics, and in terms of frequency-converter of ultraviolet and deep-ultraviolet due to its excellent properties better than BBO.
