  • Patent number: 7377260
Abstract: An internal combustion engine has a plurality of cylinders having combustion chambers and each being associated with a spark plug designed for igniting a mixture of air and fuel in the combustion chamber, and at least two adjusting devices for adjusting the air supply to the combustion chambers of the different cylinders. To control the internal combustion engine, an individual ignition angle is detected for each group of cylinders to which the same air mass per working cycle is respectively supplied and during the respective working cycles of which the same loss torque is decisive. The decisive loss torque is the one associated with the cylinder that is in its intake cycle during the respective working cycle of the respective cylinder of the respective group. The individual ignition angle for each group is detected as a function of the decisive loss torque for the respective group.

  • Publication number: 20060170190
Abstract: A semitrailer coupling comprising a coupling plate and a bearing block used for movably fastening the coupling plate to a frame of a tractor. The bearing block is provided with a bearing area and a fastening area. The bearing area is embodied such that the coupling plate can be pivotably mounted while the fastening area is configured such that the coupling plate can be detachably fixed to a frame of the tractor. The bearing area has a larger cross section than the fastening area, the cross section extending in the direction of travel (x) and parallel to the pivoting axis (y).

  • Publication number: 20060133942
Abstract: In a device for fixing a fuel pump in a surge pot within a fuel tank, wherein the fixing device comprises a cover which, in the assembled state, sealingly closes off the surge pot, the cover includes a dome-shaped section which accommodates the top of the fuel pump such that the sound emissions from the fuel pump are suppressed to the greatest possible extent.

  • Publication number: 20040103586
Abstract: A wing arrangement has a window or door frame and a wing of a door or a window secured in the window or door frame so as to allow opening and closing of the wing. A locking device is provided at the opening side of the wing and has at least one push rod for locking the wing in the window or door frame. The locking device has a locking bar and an actuating element for the locking bar supported on a wing frame of the wing. The locking bar engages the window or door frame or a neighboring wing framelocking the wing. The wing frame has an open profile section open to the opening side into which the locking bar is inserted at any desired location. The actuating element is a driver mounted on the push rod in a matching position relative to the locking bar.
