More specifically, the perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether has a particular molecular structure; the process is performed by copolymerizing the perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether compound with a common fluorinated olefin in the presence of a perfluorinated radical initiator; and the optical plastic material comprises a copolymer prepared by the process and optionally a dopant.

    Abstract: A plasma display device and a method of driving a plasma display panel (PDP) are provided. The plasma display device includes an upper substrate on which a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes respectively corresponding to the first electrodes are formed; and a lower substrate on which a plurality of third electrodes are formed, wherein the first electrodes are respectively 100 ?m or more distant apart from the second electrodes, and during a reset period, a voltage that gradually increases is applied to the first electrodes, and at the same time, a positive bias voltage is applied to the third electrodes. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the power consumption of a PDP by driving a PDP including a scan electrode and an address electrode that are sufficiently distant apart from each other in such a manner that a positive bias voltage can be applied to an address electrode during a reset period.
