  • Publication number: 20170307355
Abstract: Coordinate measuring machine, comprising an optical sensor for capturing image data of a workpiece. The optical sensor comprises a lens, which defines an optical axis, and an illumination device for illuminating the workpiece. The illumination device comprises a diffusely radiating luminous body and an optical filter having a plurality of separate light passages. • Publication number: 20170234676
Abstract: A method and an apparatus for determining a plurality of spatial coordinates on a measurement object using a working head having an image sensor for recording images of the measurement object. A first image of a first feature of the object with the working head in a first working position is recorded. First spatial coordinates representing a spatial position of the first feature are determined using first position information of the working head supplied by an encoder arrangement. The working head is then moved relative to the object to a second working position, where a second image of the object is recorded. Using the first and the second images, second position information which represents a spatial offset of the working head relative to the object is determined. Spatial coordinates for a second feature of the measurement object are determined on the basis of the second position information.

  • Publication number: 20170234681
Abstract: An arrangement measures coordinates of a workpiece and/or machines the workpiece. The arrangement has a first part and a second part that can be moved relative to the first part. The relative mobility of the first and second parts is specified in addition to a possible mobility of a probe that is optionally additionally fixed to the arrangement. • Publication number: 20160195869
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reducing errors of a rotary device of a coordinate measuring machine or a machine tool. The rotary device comprises first and second parts rotatable relative to one another about an axis of rotation of the rotary device, and a rotational position measuring device for measuring rotational positions of the first part and the second part relative to one another. Errors of the rotary device due to deviations between actual positions and axial alignments relative to ideal positions and an ideal axial alignment are measured over a range of rotary angles. Expected variations in the position of the first part or second part resulting from a deviation of the rotational movement of the rotary device from an ideal rotational movement are established from the error measurements. Rotational position measurement locations of the rotational position measuring device are established in accordance with the expected variations.

  • Patent number: 9383198
Abstract: A method reduces errors in a turning device during a determination of coordinates of a work piece or during machining of the work piece. The turning device allows a rotational movement of the work piece about a rotation axis of the turning device. The method includes measuring errors in the turning device on account of deviations between actual positions and actual orientations of the rotation axis, on the one hand, and corresponding ideal positions and ideal orientations of the rotation axis, on the other hand, in a range of rotation angles. Expected error values of the turning device are determined from error measurements and are used to correct the turning device.
