  • Patent number: 8017757
Abstract: Provided are determining methods of human papillomavirus (HPV) genotypes with a high sensitivity. The method includes performing two-step PCRs on an HPV L1 gene in a sample to be analyzed as a biotin-labeled, single-stranded L1 gene, performing a hybridization reaction on the biotin-labeled, single-stranded L1 gene with a HPV genotype detection probe, reacting the hybridization reaction product with fluorescent substance combined with streptavidine, and measuring a fluorescent substance level to identify the HPV genotype. The detection method has high sensitivity enough to detect an extremely small amount of HPV in the sample. In addition, the high specificity exhibited by the detection method enables accurate diagnosis specific to HPV type.

  • Patent number: 7792371
Abstract: A method and device for generating and decoding an image code without a direction finder pattern are provided. In the method of generating an image code, a two-dimensional image is generated by encoding the configured basic information and the error correction information, and disposing the encoded basic and error correction information in predetermined regions, respectively. It is determined whether the two-dimensional image can be decoded for directions which are different from a basic direction of the two-dimensional image, respectively, and the two-dimensional image is output as a physical or electronic image code when a result from decoding for the directions which are different from the basic direction of the two-dimensional image is the same as a decoding result for the basic direction, or when decoding cannot be performed for a direction which is different from the basic direction.

  • Patent number: 7660860
Abstract: A method for determining a transmission time of collected context information at a sensor node in a communication system that includes a client, at least one sensor node collecting context information, and an access point (AP) forwarding the context information received from the sensor node to the client. The communication system operates in a session layer of protocol layers of open systems interconnection (OSI). The sensor node calculates a transmission period in which the collected context information is transmitted, and randomly determines a transmission time at which the context information is transmitted within the calculated transmission period. Since the collected context information is transmitted at the transmission time randomly determined by the sensor node, the load on the AP can be balanced.

  • Patent number: 7042462
Abstract: An effective structure of a pixel cache for use in a three-dimensional (3D) graphics accelerator is provided. The pixel cache includes a z-data storage unit that reads z-data from a frame memory and provides the read z-data to a pixel rasterization pipeline; and a color data storage unit that in advance reads and stores color data from the frame memory at the same time when the z-data storage unit reads the z-data from the frame memory, and provides the color data to the pixel rasterization pipeline only when the result of predetermined z-test is determined to be a success in the pixel rasterization pipeline. Accordingly, the pixel cache structure enables only color data required to be read and stored in advance before processing of the color data, thereby preventing access latency, increasing the efficiency of a color cache, and reducing power consumption.
