  • Publication number: 20240200919
Abstract: Bullet constructed from FRP, preferably basalt. The method includes the step of forming pultruded basalt strands positioned co-axially before milling to form a conventional bullet shape. The process uses a 10 mm FRP rod held by a revolving collet that is interfaced with an upper diamond OD grinder and a lower diamond profile wheel. Gravity allows the rod to rest on a Teflon coated cut off wheel. The upper grinder draws the rod to an exact outer dimension and the lower grinder cuts the bullet to a perfect dimension. Linear slides move the cut off wheel and grinders in for the cutting process and out to allow the finished bullet to pass.

  • Publication number: 20210246683
Abstract: The fence post-protecting system is configured for use with a fence. The fence post-protecting system forms a sleeve structure that encloses the fence post below the ground. The fence post-protecting system protects the portion of the fence post that is below the ground. The fence post-protecting system is buried in the ground. The fence post inserts into the fence post-protecting system after the fence post-protecting system has been buried in the ground. The fence post-protecting system comprises a vertical shell, a pedestal disk, and an epoxy. The vertical shell attaches the pedestal disk. The fence post inserts into the fence post-protecting system through the vertical shell. The epoxy is poured into the vertical shell and the pedestal disk after the fence post is inserted into the fence post-protecting system. The epoxy forms a fluid impermeable coating around the fence post that protects the fence post.

  • Patent number: 8215404
Abstract: A cementing tool for use in a well has a housing and a closing sleeve received thereabout. An operating sleeve is received in the housing and is interconnected with the closing sleeve so that movement in the operating sleeve will cause the closing sleeve to move. The closing sleeve is detachably connected to the housing and is movable from the first or open position to a second or closed position in which it covers cementing ports defined in the housing. The tool has a plurality of lock rings that are moved with the closing sleeve. A plurality of locking grooves are adapted to receive the lock rings such that the engagement of any of the lock rings with any of the locking grooves will prevent the closing sleeve from moving out of the closed position.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for customizing an extensible markup language standard for technical documentation. Preliminary analysis is conducted for a project associated with the extensible markup language specification for technical data. A user interface inputs multiple preliminary decisions based on the preliminary analysis, wherein each of the multiple preliminary decisions corresponds to one of multiple prompts associated with the extensible markup language specification for technical data. The user interface provides access for multiple project representatives to the multiple preliminary decisions. A preliminary decision of the multiple preliminary decisions is converted to a decision based on a user input via the user interface. The user interface may output a report based at least on the decision. A data module may be generated based at least on the decision, wherein the data module may be executed to process technical data associated with the project.

  • Patent number: 7905454
Abstract: A tube support bracket that comprises an aluminum-coated steel support bracket formed having a circular tube-receiving aperture and an annular, castellated collar abutting the aperture. The aperture and collar are sized for receiving therethrough in close-fitting relationship an aluminum alloy heat exchanger tube. The collar, formed by a draw-punching process, has a plurality of spaced-apart, axial tabs sized for swaging against in hoop stress and bite the received tube. An inner surface of each of the collar tabs being has at least one axial groove therein, the groove being configured for receiving exterior regions of the received tube when the collar is swaged tightly against the tube to thereby lock the tube in the collar and thus in the support bracket. A corresponding method for making a tube support is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20100253025
Abstract: A hand truck has a front load platform, a rear load platform, and a pair of lower wheel assemblies and a pair of upper wheel assemblies. The load platforms and the wheel assemblies fold and nest into the frame of the hand truck, resulting in a stored position in which the thickness is approximately the same as the side rails of the hand truck. Raising and lowering of the front load platform causes the lower wheel assemblies to move back and forth from the operational position to the storage position. Likewise, raising and lower of the rear load platform causes the upper wheel assemblies to move back and forth from the operational position to the storage position.

  • Patent number: 7730395
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and system for transformation of an electronic document through learning transformation rules during training from the original electronic document using visual user feedback and applying the learned transformation rules to either the original electronic document or a second electronic document having a similar structure as the original document or all future instances of the original electronic document. Accordingly, the transformed document is customized to the user's preference learned during training. Preferably, the transformed document is created in a queriable form. For example, the original electronic document can be defined any type of mark-up language or electronic document generation language, such as Hypertext mark-up language (HTML), extended mark-up language (XML), portable data file (PDF) or Microsoft® Word, and the like and the transformed document is defined in a queriable language such as (XML) views and the like.
