  • Publication number: 20050054553
Abstract: Liquid fabric softening compositions comprise a flame retardant. The liquid fabric softening compositions preferably further comprise a fabric softening active. In another embodiment of the invention, the present compositions comprise a flame retardant, wherein the flame retardant is a phosphorus-containing fabric softener. In another embodiment of the invention, the present compositions comprise no greater than about 21%, by weight of the composition, of a fabric softener active and at least about 0.5%, by weight of the composition, of a silicone material. The present compositions can be used to treat all types of fabrics to provide improved fabric softening and freshness, while minimizing the risk of flammability associated with cotton-containing fluffier fabrics, such as fleece and terry cloth, when treated with liquid fabric softening compositions.

  • Publication number: 20050037325
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for collection and publication of a user/student's performance with respect to an academic course. a central collection site passively receives answers to questions from students over a transport medium as transmitted by student devices. a result is derived from the received answer and then stored in a memory device in a results file. The stored results correspond 1 to 1 with the original questions also stored in the memory device in a question file. The results and corresponding questions are made available to interested parties in a graphic or numeric dynamic report card. Thus the continous assessment of student achievement according to an interested party's own criteria rather than threshold type grades is permitted.

  • Publication number: 20040142760
Abstract: A golf shaft is provided having a tip portion and a butt portion. The shaft includes a first torsionally resistant flag extending along the entire length of the shaft. The shaft also includes a second torsionally resistant flag which only extends over the tip portion of the shaft. In this way, the tip portion of the shaft includes two torsionally resistant flags for providing enhanced torsion resistance without negatively impacting the bending stiffness or weight of the overall shaft.

  • Publication number: 20040114953
Abstract: A relatively thin feature information board placed in an essentially upright position proximate to the rear top surface of a multifunctional printer for conveying information concerning the feature capabilities of the printer. The feature information board is generally taller than other features of the marking engine module of the multifunctional printer. The feature information board may contain an active interface region that conveys information concerning the availability of the multifunctional services and status information such as, fault conditions, completion of jobs, and that jobs are in progress.

  • Publication number: 20040043877
Abstract: An exercise apparatus comprising a hoop or support bar that a user steps into and pulls up above his or her buttocks to the small of the back can be used for performing squats, lunges, and calf raises. The hoop or support bar is lowered and raised during exercise and provides movement resistance as the user exercises. The hoop or support bar supports the user's back, thus reducing the strain on the back and making exercising more comfortable. Additionally, an adjustable resistance element makes exercising more efficient, and allows the user to raise or lower the intensity of the exercise depending on his or her comfort level.
