  • Publication number: 20150275447
Abstract: An apparatus for mitigating freezing of a snow handling mechanism in a snow blower. The snow blower has an intake locus through which snow is received as received snow and an output locus through which the received snow is ejected as blown snow. The snow handling mechanism conveys the received snow from the intake locus to the output locus. The snow blower includes an internal combustion engine having an exhaust port. The internal combustion engine is coupled with the snow handling mechanism for effecting the conveying. The apparatus includes: (a) a collecting unit coupled with the exhaust port; the collecting unit receives exhaust fluids from the exhaust port; and (b) a fluid conveying unit coupled with the collecting unit and coupled substantially adjacent to the intake locus; the fluid conveying unit delivers the exhaust fluids from the collecting unit to the intake locus.

  • Patent number: 7015793
Abstract: A system for managing luggage handling includes: (a) a central information management appliance; (b) a plurality of portable impulse radio communication devices; and (c) at least one impulse radio transceiving instrument. The at least one impulse radio transceiving instrument, the plurality of communication devices and the central information management appliance are in communication. Selected portable impulse radio communication devices of the plurality of portable impulse radio communication devices are coded communication devices. Respective coded communication devices are attached with respective luggage items and communicate indication of at least one item relating to the respective luggage item.

  • Patent number: 6483461
Abstract: A system for locating of objects in a three-dimensional space comprises: (a) an impulse radio network including at least three reference impulse radio units and at least one mobile position indicating apparatus; position information relating the impulse radio units is recorded by at least one indicating impulse radio unit; the impulse radio units are in communication; and (b) an affixing structure for affixing a respective mobile position indicating apparatus with a respective object. A respective mobile position indicating apparatus transmits an impulse radio identifying signal that is received by a receiving impulse radio unit. An indicating impulse radio unit cooperates with the receiving impulse radio unit in using the identifying signal for developing coordinate information for locating the respective mobile position indicating apparatus.

  • Patent number: 6201376
Abstract: An apparatus for establishing an operating parameter for a power supply device having an output includes: (a) a first signal source; (b) a second signal source; (c) a third signal source; and (d) a state device. The first signal source is controllable for generating a programming signal. The second signal source generates a load indicating signal and is connected with the power supply. The third signal source generates an offset signal. The state device has a first input and a second input and changes state when the first input has a predetermined relationship with the second input. The first input is determined by relative values of the programming signal and the offset signal. The second input is related with the output. The power supply device shuts down when the state device changes state.
