  • Patent number: 5708070
Abstract: An aqueous silicone emulsion which crosslinks by a Michael addition reaction, yielding a cured composition upon removal of the water has been prepared. The aqueous silicone emulsion comprises the product formed by mixing an organosiloxane polymer containing at least two Michael acceptor groups per organosiloxane molecule, water, a surfactant and an effective amount of a crosslinker having sufficient reactive hydrogens of a Michael donor per crosslinker molecule. The invention also describes a method for making these silicone emulsions.

  • Patent number: 5174491
Abstract: Intermediates for matched mailer type business forms are constructed in four and six panel formats from a single sheet. Pressure sensitive adhesive discontinuous strips are disposed in marginal portions of the intermediates to align with each other when the intermediates are folded first about a center line, and then either a single longitudinal fold line, or first and then second longitudinal fold lines. The adhesive strips may include L-shaped portions at the intersections of strips. The marginal portions are separated from four or six main panels by perforations. The marginal portions adjacent the longitudinal edges of the sheet may have tractor drive openings. Using the invention standard size mailers containing multiple plies may each be constructed from a single sheet, by running the intermediates through a non-impact printer (e.g.

  • Patent number: 4972767
Abstract: An elevator for a toaster is disclosed which has a first portion for supporting one or more frankfurters generally side by side between an opposed pair of heating elements in the toaster. The elevator includes a second portion for supporting one or more buns one in each bun heating chamber each bun being adjacent to a single heating element. The frankfurters are heated on two sides where the buns are heated on only one side. The side by side orientation of the first portion is at right angles to an axis formed between two of the buns when the buns are supported in the bun heating chamber by the second portion. In another aspect of the invention a toaster is provided which includes a frankfurter heating chamber, at least one bun heating chamber, and at least one heating element interposed between the frankfurter heating chamber and the bun heating chamber. The heating element simultaneously heating both the frankfurter and the bun.

  • Patent number: 4901631
Abstract: A toaster for heating both a frankfurter and a frankfurter bun is disclosed. The toaster has a frankfurter heating chamber having associated first heating elements for heating at least two opposed surfaces of a frankfurter placed in said frankfurter heating chamber and at least one bun heating chamber having an associated second heating element for heating at least one surface of a bun placed in said bun heating chamber. The toaster includes an elevator having a first portion for supporting the frankfurter in the frankfurter heating chamber and a second portion for supporting the bun in the bun heating chamber. A connecting means connects the first portion to said second portion and permits a limited amount of play between said first and second portion. In one embodiment the connecting means includes a generally upside down U-shaped link bar.
