  • Patent number: 9995170
Abstract: A system for heating one or more components of a heat recovery steam generator that includes a heat-transferring conduit that fluidly connects a high-pressure section of a flow path to a low-pressure section of the flow path. The flow path is defined by a housing of the heat recovery steam generator and configured to direct a heat-containing medium. The heat-transferring conduit is configured to receive the heat-containing medium from the flow path such that the heat-containing medium flows through the heat-transferring conduit via a pressure differential between a first pressure of the heat-containing medium at the high-pressure section and a second pressure of the heat-containing medium at the low-pressure section. The heat-transferring conduit is further configured to heat the one or more components of the heat recovery steam generator via directing the heat-containing medium to be in heating contact with the one or more components.

  • Publication number: 20180127014
Abstract: The system provides a roller shade apparatus that can be affixed to any of a plurality of infant and toddler carriers (including strollers, playpens, car seats, rockers, and the like). A pair of adjustable clips allow for the roller shade to be mounted on carriers of a variety of widths. Once in place, the shade can be unrolled to the desired length and an adjustable cord with clamp (with Velcroâ„¢ backing pad) can be affixed to the body of the carrier to secure the shade in place. This allows the apparatus to be used in a variety of carriers with variable dimensions. • Publication number: 20180094560
Abstract: A combined power conversion and carbon capture and recycling subsystem including a fossil fueled oxidation unit, a physical adsorbent CO2 capture medium, rotor, motor, heater, CO2 compressor, diffuser and water storage tank. Exhaust gas from fossil fuel oxidation is scrubbed of CO2 via passage across a physical adsorbent and then released from the adsorbent via fuel oxidation waste heat. High CO2 concentration scrubber exhaust air is then compressed and fed to a diffuser which facilitates dissociation of the CO2 into water where it is temporarily stored for use in watering plants. Carbon from fossil fuel is recycled back into the environment and permanently stored as biomass by natural means of photosynthesis.
