Abstract: An electronic device includes a storage unit, a touch display unit and a central processing unit. The central processing unit includes a control module, a searching module, and a spit-screen module. The control module generates a first window on the touch display unit to display a text document when the text document is opened, and determines a selected text of the displayed text document by a user according to touch positions when the touch display unit is touched. The searching module searches occurrences of the selected text in the text document, and the control module stores the searched text in the storage unit. The spit-screen module displays each occurrence of the selected text on a second window produced thereby with a size thereof smaller than that of the first window. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: A method for controlling light-emitting diode (LED) backlight modules applied in an electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a first display and a second display. The second display includes at least two display areas. Each display area corresponds to one LED backlight module, and each display area displays option icons of an option type. The method includes: determining the file type of a file currently displayed on the first display and determining which of the option types the determined file type corresponds to; determining which of the at least two LED backlight modules the at least one determine option type corresponds to; and outputting control signals to turn on at least one of the determined LED backlight modules. A related electronic device is also provided.

Abstract: A headphone device comprises a first audio input interface, a second audio input interface, a speaker unit and a control unit. The control unit is coupled to the first audio input interface, the second audio input interface and the speaker unit. The control unit determines whether an audio signal is inputted by the first audio input interface or the second audio input interface, and then controls the playing mode of the speaker unit to play the audio signal in a first mode or in a second mode based on decision result.

Abstract: Method for generating an interface for displaying network information comprising, obtaining signal strength of a network connecting a terminal device and a server, uploading information and downloading information between the terminal device and the server in real time. A network interface is generated according to the signal strength of network, an upload interface is generated according to the upload information, and a download interface is generated according to the download information. The upload interface, the network interface and the download interface are displayed and update in real time.

Abstract: Method for controlling a number of applications to execute input commands simultaneously comprises determining whether a share command is generated and identifying currently running applications when the share command is generated. The general input commands are received and are copied. At least one background application is controlled to execute the copied general input commands. An electronic device using the above method is also provided.

Abstract: A method for managing a file system includes traversing the file system to create a directory tree corresponding to the file system. The directory tree comprises at least one parent node and at least one child node. Each of the at least one parent nodes of the directory tree corresponds to a folder of the file system. Each of the at least one child nodes of the directory tree corresponds to a file of the file system. All the nodes of the directory tree are monitored to determine whether the directory tree changes. Changed information of the file system is extracted when the directory tree changes. A file storage device using the method is also provided by the present disclosure.

Abstract: A Magnetoresistive Tunnel Junction (MTJ) device includes an elongated MTJ structure formed onto a substrate, the MTJ structure including a magnetic reference layer and a tunnel barrier layer. The MTJ device also includes a number of discrete free magnetic regions disposed onto the tunnel barrier layer. The ratio of length to width of the elongated MTJ structure is such that the magnetic field of the magnetic reference layer is pinned in a single direction.

Display the input region. Recognize and display a handwritten input in the input region. Determine whether there is a handwritten input reaches the boundary of the input region. If yes, recognize and display the letters associated with the handwritten input and determine whether the input region receives another handwritten input during a predefined time duration. If yes, determine the sting of letters associated with the handwritten input is a first portion of a complete word, and the sting of letters associated with the another handwritten input is a last portion of the complete word. Combine the first portion and the last portion into a complete word. display letters of the first portion and the last portion in a substantially same size.

Abstract: An apparatus for processing handwriting on a touch screen includes a touch display screen, a display control unit, a touch analyzing unit, and a processing unit. The touch analyzing unit determines coordinates of touches. The processing unit generates a prompt including a first operating point when touch coordinates are on the boundary of a word inputting box. When the coordinates of a touch position are on the first operating point, the processing unit reduces a size of a handwritten letters and displays the handwritten letters with reduced size, reduces the additional handwritten letters, and displays the additional handwritten letters with the reduced size in the display box at the end of the handwritten letters. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: A method for importing an email onto an editing interface of an electronic device includes the following steps. Firstly, create a new notepad page comprising an editing interface when a notepad application is activated. Secondly, receive user input signals. Thirdly, determine whether a user input operation requires the import of an email onto the editing interface of the new notepad page and select an email stored in an email box in response to an email selection operation and further directly import the selected email onto the editing interface of the new notepad page for editing and personalization. And then delivery the edited document as an outbound email. A related electronic device is also provided.

Abstract: An exemplary method for quickly sending an email includes, firstly, generating operation signals in response to a shape drawn on a touch screen of an electronic device by a user. Next, the shape is identified, according to the received operation signals. Then one or more recipients' email addresses associated with the predefined shape are acquired when it is determined that the identified shape is similar to one of predefined shapes. Lastly, an email is sent to the acquired recipients' email addresses. An electronic device implementing the method is also provided.

Abstract: A backup method and a backup system are provided by the present disclosure. Abstract: A control apparatus capable of controlling a TV interface communicates with a TV and a remote control apparatus. The control apparatus includes a communicating unit, a storage unit, and a control unit. When the communicating unit receives a wireless signal carrying information of a selected executable program transmitted by the remote control apparatus, the control unit obtains an executable program from the storage unit according to the information carried by the wireless signal and generates a first control signal and a second control signal. The remote control apparatus provides a remote control interface corresponding to the selected executable program in response to the first control signal. The TV executes the selected executable program and provides an operation interface corresponding to the selected executable program in response to the second signal. Abstract: A system capable of changing TV programs includes a TV set and a remote control apparatus. The remote control apparatus includes a first user information obtaining unit mounted outside of the remote control apparatus. The TV set includes a database, a user information processing unit, and a control unit. The database pre-stores a first table recording relationships between a plurality of user information and a plurality of preferable TV programs corresponding to each of the plurality of user information. The control unit determines the preferable TV programs of the determined user information according to the first table stored in the database, and controls the display unit to display the determined preferable TV programs. The control unit controls the display screen to only display the target picture if a ratio of the distance to the width is equal to or greater than a predetermined ratio, and controls the display screen to only redisplay the current picture if a time duration of a slide gesture from beginning to ending is smaller than a predetermined time period. Abstract: An apparatus for processing handwriting input includes a touch display unit, a touch display control unit, a storage unit, a calculating unit, and a processing unit. The touch display control unit determines a character in response to a character operation by an input device, and a height and a width of an imaginary rectangle sized to fittingly encircle the character. The calculating unit enlarges the height of the imaginary rectangle by adding a given value to the height of the imaginary rectangle if the height of the imaginary rectangle is smaller than a predetermined value. The processing unit resizes the character displayed within the enlarged imaginary rectangle by a first scaling factor. The touch display control unit controls the touch display unit to display the resized character in one of rows of a character display portion provided by the touch display unit. A related method is also described.

The correction sequence begins with each of the plurality of LED modules entering a work state in sequence, outputting a feedback voltage indicating work current of one of the LED modules to the microprocessor in sequence, comparing the feedback voltage with the standard voltage, adjusting the current of the LED module if the feedback voltage does not equal the standard voltage.
