Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus for processing image data in a portable terminal equipped with a camera. In the apparatus the image data photographed by the camera are coded by a predetermined coding scheme in a photographing mode of the camera, header information of a stream of the coded image data is generated and inserted into the stream, identifying information is generated as a watermark and the watermark is inserted into the stream, and the stream comprising the watermark is stored.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for receiving an incoming call at a first mobile communication terminal including registering an identity of at least one second mobile communication terminal capable of performing local wireless communication with a first mobile communication terminal; checking, after receiving the incoming call at the first mobile communication terminal, whether a user's input is received by the first mobile communication terminal to accept the incoming call during a first time duration; and transmitting, if the user input is not received by the first mobile communication terminal, absence information to the second mobile communication terminal notifying the second mobile communication terminal of reception of the incoming call at the first mobile communication terminal using local wireless communication.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for connecting a phone call during a Push To Talk (PTT) call traffic in a mobile communication system. The method comprises the steps of searching for a subscriber information of a selected current subscriber from both a PTT subscriber information and a subscriber group list, if a predetermined phone call key has been input; determining if the subscriber information of the selected current subscriber which has been searched from the PTT subscriber information and the subscriber group list is matched to a subscriber information stored in an address registry to confirm the matched subscriber information of the address registry; and terminating the PTT session of the PTT call traffic, connecting the phone call to the selected current subscriber's phone number based on the matched subscriber information of the address registry to perform the phone call traffic.

In a PTT service provided through a PTT server to a PTT portable terminal, the PTT portable terminal requests termination of its participation in a PTT group call during the PTT group call takes place among at least three members, requests recording of the PTT group call to the PTT server, and ends a PTT application program. When the PTT group call is terminated among the remaining members, the PTT portable terminal receives from the PTT server a notification message indicating that the PTT group call has been recorded and plays the recorded PTT group call.

Abstract: A method for performing a push to talk (PTT) communication service in a portable terminal. The method comprises entering a PTT communication mode and providing a PTT application, when a function key and an abbreviated number key for performing the PTT communication service are input to the portable terminal and performing the PTT communication service based on subscriber information of the PTT communication service corresponding to the input abbreviated numbers. Several steps of key inputs and menu selections can be removed because, the method requires only a few abbreviated number for reflecting all the necessary steps stored previously in the memory such that it can provide an improved convenience and simplicity of the operation for the PTT communication service to the users.

Abstract: An image sensor equipped photographing apparatus and a picture photographing method thereof are provided. The picture photographing method includes generating image data from an image signal output by an image sensor, storing the image data, outputting the image data as a preview image data, inputting a photographing signal to process the image data into a photographed image, and photographing an image by transforming the preview image data into the photographed image. The picture photographing method and apparatus provide a photographed image at the moment a shutter key is pressed, thereby providing an accurate photographed image at the user's desired moment.

Abstract: A mobile terminal and method for transferring call charges between mobile terminals are disclosed. To transfer call-related charges between mobile terminals, the mobile terminal and call charge transfer method place a call by a calling mobile terminal to a called mobile terminal to establish a call connection for conversation, transmit a call transfer request by the calling mobile terminal to impose call-related charges on the called mobile terminal, and perform, if the called mobile terminal accepts the call transfer request, a call transfer operation to impose the call-related charges on the called mobile terminal, and maintain, if the called mobile terminal rejects the call transfer request, the call to impose the call-related charges on the calling mobile terminal. As a result, during a call between mobile terminals, the called user can accept a call transfer request of the calling user to transfer call-related charges to the called party, thereby enabling flexible and efficient billing.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for searching a moving picture in a portable terminal. When fast forward/rewind functions are performed in a moving picture play mode, search time for displaying the progress of fast forward/rewind and actual search time for performing fast forward/rewind in the moving picture play mode are matched to each other. When fast forward or rewind are selected in a moving picture play mode of the portable terminal, a first search time for displaying progress of fast forward and a second search time for performing fast forward are compared and the search time of at least one of the first search time and the second search time is adjusted by the difference.

Abstract: A method is provided for registering and displaying digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB) channels in a mobile terminal capable of receiving DMB. A selection of DMB mode is detected and electronic program guide (EPG) information is received. The received EPG information is analyzed and the analyzed received EPG information is divided into fixed program channel information and dynamic program channel information. The fixed program channel information is matched with a genre in which a fixed program channel has been registered, and a result of the matching is displayed. The dynamic program channel information is matched with a genre in which a dynamic program channel has been registered and a genre of a program currently being broadcast on the dynamic program channel, and a result of the matching is displayed.

The terminal plate is integrally formed with the body.
