  • Publication number: 20100104321
Abstract: An image forming apparatus is configured to reduce a velocity fluctuation of a rotating body by reducing the AC velocity component of the rotating body. The image forming apparatus may include an image bearing body with a surface on which a toner image is formed; a driving motor configured to drive the image bearing body according to an input signal; and a controller configured to control the driving motor to output a motor output velocity at a period equal to that of an AC velocity component of the image bearing body. A velocity control method for the rotating body includes sampling a continuous motor input signal at a period equal to that of an AC velocity component of a rotating velocity of the rotating body. The sampled signal is transmitted to a driving motor that drives the rotating body, which is driven based upon the discrete motor input signal.

  • Publication number: 20090239668
Abstract: A method of matching game users for a game in an electronic device, the method including: displaying a user interface screen to receive, from a user, a selection of an option for starting the game; and creating a match by searching a network and/or a subnet for one or more game participants in response to receiving a selection of an option, via the user interface screen, to match a plurality of users to play the game. Accordingly, it is possible to more rapidly create a match between a plurality of game participants.

  • Publication number: 20090206914
Abstract: The present invention describes a semiconductor device that generates internal voltages having different levels using an external voltage. The semiconductor device includes a plurality of asynchronous internal voltage generating circuits that share an external voltage source and generate internal voltages having different levels from one another. The plurality of asynchronous internal voltage generating circuits maintain the levels of the internal voltages at target levels by using the external voltage at different time points, respectively. The semiconductor device minimizes noise in the external voltage according to the use of the internal voltages.

  • Patent number: 7495711
Abstract: An apparatus and a method of automatically setting a sound mode of a broadcast receiver without a user setting, using a vertical blanking interval. The apparatus includes a vertical blanking interval signal decoder, a memory, a sound decoder, and a system control unit. The vertical blanking interval signal decoder decodes a signal included in the vertical blanking interval of a received broadcasting signal. The memory stores one or more sound band control signals with respect to a plurality of sound modes. The sound decoder controls a sound band of an audio signal included in the received broadcasting signal and outputs the audio signal whose sound band is controlled. The system control unit detects a sound band control signal from the memory based on sound mode data included in data output from the vertical blanking interval signal decoder and controls the sound decoder using the detected sound band control signal.

  • Publication number: 20060023818
Abstract: In a method of wirelessly transmitting an audio and/or video input signal having a standard definition (SD), the input signal is converted to a signal having a high definition (HD) and noise is removed from the converted signal. High definition encoding is performed to the noise-free signal and the encoded signal is wirelessly transmitted. Accordingly, image deterioration can be reduced by eliminating the noise before encoding the input signal. In addition, the HD encoding is performed instead of the SD encoding to reduce image degradation.
