    Abstract: A drum washing machine and washing method are provided. The washing machine directly sprays water to laundry inside the drum through a nozzle unit. The method includes passing some water through a detergent container and directly spraying some water to the inside of a drum through a nozzle unit such that a high concentration of detergent bubbles is generated while applying a force to the laundry. The washing machine includes a cabinet, a tub inside the cabinet, a drum inside the tub, a door on the cabinet, a diaphragm, and a nozzle unit installed so interference with the door is avoided and to receive water directly from an external source to spray water inside the drum during a washing cycle and a rinsing cycle. The nozzle unit adjusts water jetting according to a displacement of an actuator installed inside the nozzle unit.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a BSLM method of generating U independent alternative symbol sequences by changing a phase of symbol sequences by phase sequences and transmitting the alternative symbol sequences with a PAPR to lower the PARR of a transmission signal of a transmitter in an OFDM system. The transmitter uses m-sequences as the phase sequence and a receiver uses an ML decoder to distinguish the phase sequence. The BSLM method includes rotating phases in blocks according to the m-sequences used in the respective symbol sequences, selecting a signal sequence with a minimum PAPR among U alternative signal sequences generated by the m-sequences in the transmitter, and partitioning U alternative symbol sequences into U/2 blocks in the transmitter. Block partitioning and predetermined phase rotation are used to embed side information in an alternative signal sequence, and the BSLM scheme may be extended to a BPTS.

    Abstract: An inline skate mounting a pair of air tubes is invented for absorbing shock transmitted to its wheels so as to allow the use of rigid wheels, and to protect the rider's knees and ankles from shock. The inline skate comprises a frame having insertion compartments for mounting the shock absorbers, guide recesses, brackets for defining desired spaces, and a wheel holder having supporting plates. The wheels are coupled to and supported by the sides of the supporting plate and inserted into the guide recesses so that the wheel holder moves upward and downward when an external force is applied so as to transmit the external force to the shock absorbers. The shock absorbers are inserted into the insertion compartments and filled with air to absorb the external force when the wheel holder moves vertically. Since the wheel holder moves vertically as the skate traverses an uneven surface, the inline skater can balance stably and safely.
