  • Publication number: 20060267880
Abstract: An electron emission display and a driving method thereof adjust a brightness differently according to a brightness of a frame in order to reduce power consumption and prevent a gradual failure from occurring, and easily recognize a change of the brightness. A pixel portion receives a data signal and a scan signal, and displays an image. A data driver generates the data signal using video data and transfers the data signal to the pixel portion. A scan driver transfers the scan signal to the pixel portion. A timing controller transfers a drive signal to drive the data driver and the scan driver, to the data driver and the scan driver. A data processor generates a control signal corresponding to frame data obtained by summing a value of video data inputted during one frame. A power supply section generates a drive voltage and transfers the drive voltage to the pixel portion, the data driver, the scan driver, the timing controller, and the data processor.

  • Publication number: 20060221018
Abstract: A driving apparatus, and a driving method for an electron emission display, includes a controller for comparing external video data input signals, switching a polarity control signal in a predetermined period on the basis of the comparison and controlling a video data output signal in accordance with the polarity control signal, and a data driver for modulating the video data signal output from the controller. The switching of the polarity control signal may be shifted temporally when the comparison indicates the video data input signals have the same gray level.

  • Publication number: 20060056467
Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-wavelength laser diode, in which an oscillating structure includes a semiconductor substrate, and a lower cladding layer, an active layer and a ridge formed in their order on the semiconductor substrate. A first metal layer is formed on a first face of the oscillating structure including one end of the ridge, and made of a metal having a high reflectivity in a first wavelength range of at least a predetermined wavelength. A second metal layer is formed on the first metal layer, the second metal layer being made of a metal having a high reflectivity in a second wavelength range under the predetermined wavelength. The multi-wavelength laser diode can improve-the reflective layer structure to achieve a high reflectivity in the entire visible light range.

  • Publication number: 20050289605
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an intelligent low-noise block down-converter (LNB) which is implemented to, only when an LNB ID contained therein is the same as an ID of a satellite receiver connected therewith, provide a down-converted signal (IF signal) to the satellite receiver, thereby making it possible to more securely prevent an ID card of the satellite receiver and/or a pay broadcast program from being duplicated.

  • Publication number: 20040227310
Abstract: A roller shoe having a brake pad of this invention can perform a stable brake operation as the brake pad is frictioned to the ground if the ankle is bent further a bit more backward by detachably mounting a brake pad of high strength on the heel portion of an inclined plane of the shoe sole where a wheel is mounted. This roller shoe has a structure wherein a wheel for moving a roller shoe wearer by rotation is mounted on a concave groove formed on an inclined plane at the heel portion of the sole of a sports shoe to be axially coupled thereto and a brake unit for performing a brake function by a friction to the ground by bending the ankle backward at a predetermined angle is mounted on the heel portion of the sole where the wheel is mounted.
