Abstract: A sound source search system is capable of searching for a sound source using map information. If particular area information among the map information is selected, a sound source search client requests sound source tag information and sound source information associated with the selected particular area information. A sound source search server delivers the sound source tag information and the sound source information to the sound source search client in response to the request. The sound source search client displays one or more sound source tags corresponding to the particular area information on a screen based on the sound source tag information and sound source information received from the sound source search server.

Abstract: A mobile network capable of 3-Dimensional (3D) packet scale down includes a server, mobile station and proxy server. The proxy server includes an apparatus and method for 3-Dimensional (3D) packet scale down. The method includes receiving a 3D packet from a main server, generating a set of unit figures constituting a 3D image using a parameter of the received 3D packet, and increasing a size of a partial unit figure in the generated set of the unit figures, and generating a set of the same size as the generated set of the unit figures, by figures of less number than the generated set of the unit figures.

Abstract: A method is for reducing booting time of a mobile communication terminal. The method includes the steps of driving a User Interface (UI) task concerning performing of communications created from a memory while the mobile communication terminal is being booted; simultaneously performing an initialization of an application program in a booting initializing unit that is to be separated from the UI task, and executing an initial screen in the UI task; and completing the initialization of the application program and execution of the initial screen in the UI task, and switching to an idle screen which a user can use. As a result, booting time of the mobile communication terminal is reduced.
