Abstract: Disclosed herein is a detergent supply apparatus of a washing machine, which installs a liquid detergent container in a powdered detergent chamber of a detergent container. The liquid detergent container makes it possible to mix and supply liquid detergent and water, which allows liquid detergent to be conveniently placed in, moreover, decoloration and discoloration of laundry to be prevented.

Abstract: The present invention provides a dispenser which evenly dispenses washing water to a detergent container. Within the dispenser, a slit of a subsidiary water passage is configured in a rib located between an inlet water passage where washing water enters the dispenser and an end water passage distant from the inlet water passage by the farthest. Some quantity of washing water running the inlet water passage is diverged and moves to the end water passage where washing water has been insufficiently supplied. Hereby, washing water is equally scattered over the dispenser and drops into the detergent container. The dissolving power can be much more enhanced.

Abstract: A detergent container of a washing machine in accordance with the present invention comprises a powdered detergent chamber to store powdered detergent, an outlet to discharge powdered detergent mixed with water in the powdered detergent chamber, a subsidiary detergent chamber to store bleach or fabric softner, a drain passage to guide powdered detergent mixed with water from the powdered detergent chamber to the outlet, and a bypass passage to allow powdered detergent mixed with water to bypass from the powdered detergent chamber to the drain passage. Even though an excessive volume of powdered detergent is placed in the powdered detergent chamber and the drain passage is clogged, powdered detergent mixed with water can be drained from the detergent container through the bypass passage, thus powdered detergent can be supplied to a tub of the washing machine without a hitch.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present invention provide a frequency phase locked loop circuit, which may enable a frequency and/or phase of a sampled signal to be tracked within a short time. Exemplary embodiments of the present invention also provide a digital television demodulator, which may use the frequency phase locked loop circuit. Exemplary embodiments of the frequency phase locked loop circuit may include a mean power frequency discriminator, a mean calculator, a phase discriminator, a loop-filter, and an adder. The frequency phase locked loop circuit may obtain a carrier frequency through a path and may track a phase of the carrier frequency through another path.

A field synchronization part of a VSB signal, in which a pilot signal may be removed, may be used as a reference signal for synchronization. The frequency offset of a carrier wave may be estimated through self-correlation of a signal, and the phase offset of the carrier wave may be estimated through a pilot-less frequency and phase locked loop (FPLL).

Abstract: A swing device has a supporter, a seat suspended on the supporter to swing in front and back directions, a permanent magnet installed in the seat, and an electromagnet installed to face the permanent magnet in a swing path to have the same polarity as that of the permanent magnet. The electromagnet is selectively driven when the permanent magnet approaches, generating a repulsive force for the permanent magnet. The seat swings by the repulsive force. The swing device has merits in that its simple structure makes manufacturing cost reduced and that a fixed polarity of the electromagnet prevents a malfunction of the device.

In this case, the black layer is formed together with the black matrix in one. Cheap nonconductive oxide is used as a black powder of a black layer. Specifically, in case the black layer and the black matrix are formed in one, the bus electrode is shifted to a non-discharge area to improve the brightness of the plasma display panel.

A sustaining electrode pair is arranged at each side of the auxiliary electrode pair to cause a sustaining discharge by utilizing the auxiliary discharge. In the driving method, wall charges concentrate on the center portion of the discharge cell during an auxiliary discharge generated between the auxiliary electrode pair. Then, a sustaining discharge is generated between the sustaining electrode pair by utilizing the wall charges produced by the auxiliary discharge.
