Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a signal transmission method. A first correspondence is acquired between both a PSD of transmitted signals of the first communications equipment and a PSD of transmitted signals of a second communications equipment and a signal-to-noise ratio of received signals of the first communications equipment. A second correspondence is acquired between the signal-to-noise ratio of received signals of the first communications equipment and the number of bits for bearing signals. An optimization algorithm is used to calculate a PSD of transmitted signals of the first communications equipment and a PSD of transmitted signals of the second communications equipment.

Abstract: A composition is disclosed. The composition comprises at least one polymeric colorant having a polymer component with a colorant component covalently bound thereto, a medicament, and a liquid vehicle. The at least one colorant component does not react directly or indirectly with the medicament. Methods of using the polymeric colorants, including a method for the preparation of skin as a site for a surgical procedure and a method of treating a medical condition, are also provided.

Abstract: A method for building three-dimensional articles using a thermal polymerization process in provided. The articles are built by using a composition that includes a thermally polymerizable composition, a thermal initiator, and a nonlinear light-to-heat conversion material such as a reverse saturable dye. The article is built by the sequential exposure of adjacent voxels with a laser beam. Microlens arrays can be used to expose more than one voxel at a time.

The device is arranged in a financial self-service equipment, so as to open or close a cash depositing/withdrawing port (1) of the financial self-help service equipment. The device comprises a frame (3) integrally welded, a gate (2) and a power transmission mechanism. The gate (2) is arranged on the frame (3) by a first rotation shaft (4) and can rotate around the first rotation shaft (4). The power transmission mechanism is fixed on the frame (3), so as to provide the gate (2) with rotation power. The power transmission mechanism comprises a motor (5) and at least one unidirectional folding linkage mechanism (70). The device can be self-locked via the unidirectionally folding linkage mechanism (70).

Abstract: A test system for a managed cloud computing environment may have a management system that may recruit devices in the cloud and outside the cloud to perform a test on a cloud based application. Each device may execute an agent that connects the device to several cloud services for messaging, data collection, and executable code storage. The management system may identify and gather the devices, then cause the devices to execute a test by sending commands through the messaging service. The devices may access executable code for the specific tasks of a test through the code storage service, and as the devices complete tasks for the test, the devices may publish results in the data collection service. The test system enables any type of scenario to be implemented, including operations that can only be performed inside and outside the managed cloud environment.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media for detecting anomalies within nodes of a data center are provided. A self-learning system is employed to proactively and automatically detect the anomalies using one or more locally hosted agents for pulling information that describes states of a plurality of nodes (e.g., computing devices of a cloud-computing infrastructure), respectively, and using at least one early-warning mechanism for implementing a comparison technique. The comparison technique involves individually comparing the state information of the plurality of the nodes against one another and, based upon the comparison, grouping one or more nodes of the plurality of nodes into clusters that exhibit substantially similar state information. Upon identifying the clusters that include low number of nodes grouped therein, with respect to a remainder of the clusters of nodes, the members of the identified clusters are designated as anomalous machines.

Abstract: Embodiments provide an application layer security proxy that protects substation automation systems. The application layer security proxy inspects a received, inbound data packet at the application layer, and either drops the data packet, forwards the data packet, or processes the data packet rather than dropping it in order to maintain the communications network connection, the later two according to a predefined role-based access control policy. The application layer security proxy calculates a round trip time for each reply to a received, inbound data packet and observes the bandwidth usage from the amount of bytes transmitted. Round trip time and bandwidth usage are used to detect abnormal communication traffic.
