Abstract: A curved-surface liquid crystal display panel and a display device are disclosed. The curved-surface liquid crystal display panel includes an array substrate and an opposite substrate, a liquid crystal layer including first liquid crystal molecules, a lower polarizer, an upper polarizer, a lower compensation layer, and an upper compensation layer. Each of the upper compensation layer and the lower compensation layer includes second liquid crystal molecules having a birefringence different from that of the first liquid crystal molecules. A direction of pre-tilt angles of the second liquid crystal molecules in the upper compensation layer and a direction of a light absorption axis of the upper polarizer forms a non-zero first angle, and the direction of pre-tilt angles of the second liquid crystal molecules in the lower compensation layer and a direction of a light absorption axis of the lower polarizer forms a non-zero second angle.

Abstract: A display substrate, a manufacturing method thereof and a display panel are provided. The display substrate includes: a base substrate and an alignment film disposed on the base substrate. The base substrate includes a plurality of pixel units, each of the pixel units including an active display region and a peripheral region located on the periphery of the active display region. The alignment film located at the peripheral region is configured not to cause aligned liquid crystal molecules to deflect during operation, and the alignment film located at the active display region is configured to cause the aligned liquid crystal molecules to deflect during operation.

The backlight assembly includes a light source and at least one light-absorbing substance. The light source is configured to emit a white light, the white light comprising at least two primary color lights. The at least one light-absorbing substance is disposed at a light-out side of the light source and is configured to absorb light in at least one overlapping portion between spectra of two of the at least two primary color lights in the white light.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a pixel unit, an array substrate and a manufacturing method thereof. The pixel unit comprises slit electrodes and comprises four zones. The slit electrodes in the four zones are electrically connected with each other. The slit incline directions of the slit electrodes of the pixel unit in each of the four zones are the same, and the slit inclined directions of the slit electrodes of the pixel unit in any two adjacent zones of the four zones are different. The pixel unit structure with a plurality of domains and the array substrate comprising the pixel unit structure provided by the present disclosure can eliminate color deviation to the greatest extent, and have excellent light transmittance.
