Abstract: A method for aging and storage of Jiang-flavor raw liquor involves “growing, nourishing and storing.” The Jiang-flavor new liquors of different rounds are subjected to outdoor storage in jars for not more than 1 year, then the Jiang-flavor raw liquors of different rounds having experienced the outdoor storage in jars for not more than 1 year are blended and put into stainless steel tank for blending and aging for a period of 1 to 2 years, and finally the Jiang-flavor raw liquor having experiencing the blending and ageing in the stainless steel tank for 1 to 2 years undergoes indoor storage in jars for 2 to 10 years. The method combines different storage containers with different storage years, improving the aging and storage effect and the quality of the Jiang-flavor raw liquor in a targeted manner.

Abstract: A geothermal well includes a borehole formed in a geologic formation. The borehole includes a first portion extending from a first end to a second end and a second portion intersecting the first portion at a first depth. The second portion is exposed to the formation for heating a fluid flowing in the second portion. The well includes an outer string disposed in the first portion where a lower end of the outer string is disposed above the first depth. The well includes an inner string disposed though the outer string and an annulus formed between the inner string and the outer string. The well includes a choke fluidly coupled to at least one of the annulus or the inner string. The choke is configured to regulate return flow of the heated fluid to maintain surface backpressure above a boiling pressure of the heated fluid at surface.

Abstract: Methods and compositions for estimating one or more downhole qualities of a drilling apparatus by obtaining axial acceleration data. The axial acceleration data may be acquired by measuring an axial acceleration of a bottom hole assembly. The axial acceleration may then be used to estimate one or more of a downward weight on a drill bit of the drilling apparatus or a rate of penetration of the drill bit.

Abstract: Membranes and methods of making and using the membranes are described herein. The membranes can include a foamed polymeric support and a plurality of inorganic particles disposed within the foamed polymeric support. The foamed polymeric support can contain a hydrophilic polymer such as polyethersulfone. The plurality of inorganic particles can include hydrophilic particles such as zeolite particles. In certain embodiments, the membrane can be used in humidifiers, such as those used in fuel cell systems. In some aspects, the membrane can be used for separating a fluid mixture comprising water. The membranes described herein are stable for high temperature applications.
