Abstract: The present invention is a multi-purpose shoulder strap utilized by a user with a shoulder that includes a base strap with two ends and a pair of hook-shaped clasps disposed on the ends of the base strap to removably attach the multi-purpose shoulder strap to a containing device to convert the containing device into a carryall, wherein the user carries the containing device over the user's shoulder. The pair of hook-shaped clasps each includes a hook portion and a spring-loaded prong portion that is disposed in front of the hook portion and the containing device can be a purse.
