  • Publication number: 20210129808
Abstract: An agricultural train assembly having a tractor and at least one implement coupled to the tractor through a tongue. The assembly has a tractor braking system that selectively applies tractor brakes, an implement braking system that selectively applies implement brakes, a controller that selectively applies the implement braking system, a sensor that communicates with the controller to identify a push force applied to the tongue, the push force being the amount of force applied by the at least one implement towards the tractor. Wherein, the controller communicates with the sensor to identify the push force and compares the push force to a push threshold and when the push force is greater than the push threshold, the controller instructs the implement braking system to apply a burst braking procedure.

  • Publication number: 20200319100
Abstract: Methods and systems for analyzing a sample and generating a predictive model using cavity ring-down spectroscopy are disclosed. At least part of a sample is loaded in a ring-down cavity. For each of a set of wavelengths, a laser beam is generated and directed into the ring-down cavity. The laser beam entering the ring-down cavity is extinguished. Light intensity decay data for light exiting the ring-down cavity is registered via a light intensity sensor system. A probability is determined from the light intensity decay data for the set of wavelengths that a subject from which the sample was received has a physiological condition or a degree of the physiological condition at least indirectly using a dataset of light intensity decay data for previously analyzed samples for which the presence or the absence of the physiological condition or the degree of the physiological condition have been identified.

  • Publication number: 20190200489
Abstract: A cooling unit having a liquid coolant flow through the cooling unit and a gas coolant flow through the cooling unit is controlled using a temperature signal representing a present temperature associated with equipment cooled by the cooling unit and a delayed-effect variable signal representing a variable having a potentially delayed impact on the temperature associated with the equipment cooled by the cooling unit. A thermal system model to which the temperature signal, the delayed-effect variable signal, the liquid coolant flow and the gas coolant flow are inputs is used to calculate a projected future temperature associated with the equipment. Responsive to the projected future temperature, coolant flow is adjusted to target the projected future temperature toward a set-point by adjusting the liquid coolant flow and the gas coolant flow. The delayed-effect variable signal may represent, for example, a processing workload or a current drawn by the equipment.

  • Publication number: 20160330901
Abstract: A product distribution device shown as an agricultural air seeder in which product distribution can be selective stopped and started in sections of the machine width. The functioning of the section control system is monitored by sensors that directly detect the control member position as opposed to sensing the commanded position of the control member. Likewise, in generating a map of the area covered, the actual detected position of the control member is used instead of the commanded position of the control member. An operator is notified of inconsistencies between the commended position of the control member and the sensed position.
