  • Publication number: 20230368275
Abstract: A method and system for preventing duplicate orders in a client-server architecture, the method including and the system operable for: storing in a database an indicator that an order has been placed for an order identification; when a front-end system calls a back-end system to place a subsequent order for another order identification, the back-end system checking the database to see if the another order identification matches the order identification for the placed order using the indicator; and, if so, the back-end system labeling the subsequent order as a duplicate order and disregarding the subsequent order, but returning a successful return code to the front-end system. The indicator that the order has been placed for the order identification is only stored in the database for a dynamically adjustable threshold period of time, after which period of time the subsequent order is determined to be a new order that is processed.

  • Patent number: 11811771
Abstract: In implementations of NGAC graph evaluations, a computing device implements a next generation access control (NGAC) graph that includes user elements representing users, object elements representing resources, and multiple policy classes. Policy binding nodes can be modeled as user attributes in the NGAC graph for each of the multiple policy classes, and each policy binding node is assigned to a corresponding one of the multiple policy classes. A user element is assigned as a member of a policy binding node, and the policy binding node delineates at least one policy permission on an object element and grants the policy permission on the object element to the user element. The computing device implements a policy decision module to evaluate the NGAC graph with a graph evaluation procedure to determine graph analysis information relative to at least one of the user element, the granted policy permission, or the object element.

  • Publication number: 20230305489
Abstract: According to examples, a learning based, end-to-end compression system may include an encoder, which may receive a complex hologram image and encode a latent code for a real component and an imaginary component of the hologram image. The system may also include a quantizer to quantize the latent code and a transform block, which may entropy-code the quantized latent code to obtain a compressed image. The system may further include a generator to decode the compressed image and a discriminator, which may classify the decoded image to obtain an uncompressed image. In case of holographic video input, the encoder may encode a frame to obtain a standard compressed frame and a residual to a latent code. The generator may decode the standard compressed frame and the latent code to obtain a reconstructed residual, and the discriminator may combine the uncompressed standard frame and the reconstructed residual.
