  • Patent number: 7494348
Abstract: A cable termination to a power distribution module includes a power distribution module housing having a conductive mounting tube extending therefrom. The mounting tube includes a main bore extending therethrough for receiving a main power cable. A main power cable is received within the main bore, wherein the main power cable includes at least one wire extending into the power distribution module housing. The main power cable includes a cylindrical shield element surrounding the at least one wire. A spring element engages the shield element and biases the shield element into engagement with the mounting tube to electrically common the shield element and the housing.

  • Publication number: 20090034165
Abstract: A power distribution module includes a housing having a component chamber configured to house an electrical component therein. The housing includes at least a portion thereof defining a shield interface. A header assembly is coupled to the housing. The header assembly includes a header body including an inner body portion and an outer body portion, and the header assembly further includes a header shield positioned between the inner and outer body portions. The header shield engages the shield interface of the housing when the header assembly is coupled to the housing.

  • Publication number: 20080243885
Abstract: Embodiments of a method for managing entities include candidate selection by a transitive bucketing process where at least one attribute of an initial data record is used to determine a set of candidate data records corresponding to the initial data record. For each candidate data record thus determined, additional candidate data record(s) may be determined using attribute(s) not used in linking the candidate data record to the initial data record. This process may be repeated until no more candidate data records are returned. The initial data record and related candidates thus determined are then resolved into group entities, each having member records that match one another above a certain threshold. If no match is found, a group entity comprising a single data record may be created. These group entities are then reconciled with other entities in a master entity index system.

  • Patent number: 7397992
Abstract: Disclosed are tubeless fiber optic cables having strength members, methods of making the cables, and methods for making strength members. Specifically, the concepts of the invention inhibit the distortion and/or influence the cross-sectional shape of the tubeless fiber optic cables due to torsional forces from the strength members. For instance, one tubeless fiber optic cable of the invention uses strength members with a dead-lay construction for inhibiting distortion of the same. Another tubeless fiber optic cable design uses strength members on opposite sides of the cavity where the torsional forces from the strength members are in opposite directions for influencing the cross-sectional shape of the same. Other aspects of the invention are directed to methods for making the tubeless fiber optic cables.

  • Patent number: 7385160
Abstract: A food holding cabinet having a housing defining a heating chamber for holding a covered food tray in a tray location has a pair of elongated rigid rods mounted to the housing for suspending a food tray cover thereon in a position above the tray location. A front rod extends across the opening to the heating chamber and supports the front end of the tray cover and a rear rod supports the rear of the cover. When a food tray is inserted into the tray location, it lifts and supports the cover. When the tray is removed, the front rod prevents removal of the cover along with the underlying tray. The front rod is spring-loaded to be pulled away from the housing to facilitate removal of the cover. A tray cover is also provided.

  • Patent number: 7381355
Abstract: Apparatus is disclosed for repairing a flaw in a surface, particularly in the field of vehicle glass repair. The apparatus has a housing adapted to engage the surface to be repaired, a repair seal for sealing between the housing and around the flaw to be repaired to define a repair space over the flaw. A reservoir communicates with the repair space and, in use, contains liquid repair material. A vacuum pump communicates with the repair space and the reservoir to apply a partial vacuum to the repair space and to the reservoir without repair liquid from the reservoir being drawn into the repair space in order to degas separately the flaw and repair liquid in the reservoir. After appropriate degassing, repair liquid from the reservoir is caused to flow into the repair space to fill the repair space with repair liquid.

  • Publication number: 20080074240
Abstract: A system, method, and program product that generates a person's status value at a status indicator device, and that replicates the status to at least one additional status indicator device. The status indicator device is selected from one or more status indicator devices, wherein at least one of the status indicator devices is a light switch and wherein the status value is set based upon a setting of the light switch. Other embodiments are also disclosed.
