    Abstract: The invention relates to a method and an assembly for accumulating combined positional information for a system, in which for predetermined instants first and second respective positional information of a system are determined, using a first and a second position determination system. Respective error information for at least one part of the predetermined instants is determined using the first and second positional information. The error information is used to determine a measure for a statistical dependency between the respective error information, and said measure for a statistical dependency is used to determine the combined positional information.
