Abstract: A grappling hook is disclosed which is designed to be used by a person having lost the dexterity in a hand or fingers. The grappling hook is formed AS a strap of flexible material. The strap is formed into a loop at one end which loop is to be placed around the wrist of a wearer. The other end of the strap is formed into a straight section which has an opening in its end. A grommet is placed into the opening. A circular eyelet made of metal is placed into the grommet. The circular eyelet continues in a straight section and a U-shaped hook appears at that end. The U-shaped hook is used to be attached to any item the person wants to manipulate.
