  • Patent number: 11157859
Abstract: Some embodiments of the present invention include a method for creating, via a first user interface, at least one link in a performance summary to link to supporting information of an employee's work associated with the performance summary. The performance summary including the at least one link is then displayed via the first user interface. The method then detects, via the first user interface, when the at least one link in the performance summary is selected. Responsive to the at least one link being selected, the supporting information of the employee's work associated with the performance summary is displayed via the first user interface.

  • Patent number: 11003697
Abstract: A process for generating regular expressions (regexes) as extraction patterns in a cluster computing system includes: receiving log events, a set of seed words, and a set of seed patterns; determining whether the set of seed words is full; if not, generating a new patterns by iteratively adding new patterns whose pattern scores S1 surpass a first preset score into the set of seed patterns; selecting a subset of seed patterns from the set of seed patterns; determining whether the subset of seed patterns is empty if not, generating a subset of seed words whose word scores S2 surpass a second preset score and iteratively adding the subset of seed words into the set of seed words; and repeating the above steps until the set of seed patterns is full and the set of seed words is empty; and finally pruning the set of seed patterns.

  • Publication number: 20210131767
Abstract: The invention presents a system optimizing control coefficients of flight object under complex environmental effects using hybrid Fuzzy Logic and PID variant controller. The proposed system includes: target module, seeker module, guidance module, control module, dynamics module. The fuzzy logic controller is applied to determine the parameters coefficients of a proportional integral derivative (PID) based on the effect of these coefficients on the system response. The control module is less affected by the accuracy of the mathematical model and can perform well in environments with impact noise.

  • Publication number: 20200410147
Abstract: The invention proposes a method of calculating aerodynamic derivatives for flight vehicle including the following steps: step 1: simulation and calculation of static aerodynamic coefficients for flight vehicle; step 2: simulate forced harmonic oscillation, specifically: create the harmonic oscillation profile by channels and determine the combined derivative according to the pitch, roll and yaw channels for at least 3 different frequencies; step 3: calculate the aerodynamic derivatives for each channel, specifically: establish a mathematical model describing the forced harmonic oscillations according to the channels, developing an optimal program to minimize the cost function and estimate parameters.

  • Patent number: 10756482
Abstract: A coupling can include a barrel that includes a communication pathway, such as an electrical contact or optical pathway. The coupling can include a nut that is configured to engage with a corresponding portion of a mating connector, such as via a threaded connection. When the coupling and the mating connector are engaged, the nut secures the coupling and the mating connector together, and respective termination elements of the coupling and the mating connector are in communication with each other. The coupling can include a torque-limiting mechanism. The torque-limiting mechanism can be configured to enable the transmission of torque up to a limit amount, and to inhibit or prevent the transmission of torque above the limit amount.

  • Patent number: 10645156
Abstract: A method and system for distributed spatial control of a formation of vehicles includes receiving at a first formation vehicle via a peer-to-peer communication interface, direction of travel and formation density information that indicate a course of travel for the first vehicle while travelling as a member of the formation of vehicles. The peer-to-peer formation density information indicates a distance to maintain from other neighboring formation vehicles. A formation vehicle self-navigation command is generated for navigating the first vehicle when travelling in one dimensional, two dimensional, or three dimensional space as a member of the formation of vehicles. The self-navigation command is based on the peer-to-peer direction of travel and formation density information. The direction of travel information is based on locally determined spatial relationships of a portion of the formation of vehicles.

  • Patent number: 10554786
Abstract: In some implementations, a mobile device can be configured to monitor environmental, system and user events associated with the mobile device and/or a peer device. The occurrence of one or more events can trigger adjustments to system settings. The mobile device can be configured to keep frequently invoked applications up to date based on a forecast of predicted invocations by the user. In some implementations, the mobile device can receive push notifications associated with applications that indicate that new content is available for the applications to download. The mobile device can launch the applications associated with the push notifications in the background and download the new content. In some implementations, before running an application or communicating with a peer device, the mobile device can be configured to check energy and data budgets and environmental conditions of the mobile device and/or a peer device to ensure a high quality user experience.

  • Publication number: 20190266593
Abstract: This application relates to systems, methods, and apparatus for using a computing device to perform payment transactions while the computing device is operating in a low power wallet mode during a low battery state of the computing device. During a low power wallet mode, various subsystems are prevented from receiving current from a battery of the computing device, while a near field communication (NFC) system of the computing device is provided with an operating current for detecting target systems. A target system and the NFC system can communicate during the low power wallet mode of the computing device, thereby allowing a user of the computing device to conduct payment transactions when the computing device is in a low power wallet mode. Such payment transactions can be useful if the user is ever stranded without enough power to fully operate the computing device and needs to pay for transportation.
