    Abstract: Provided is a process of learning an audience member function, the process including: obtaining a training set of geographic data describing geolocation histories of a plurality of mobile devices, wherein members of the training set are classified according to whether the respective member of the training set is a member of an audience; retrieving attributes of geolocations in the geolocation histories from a geographic information system; learning feature functions of an audience member function based on the training set, wherein at least some of the feature functions are a function of the retrieved attributes of geolocation, wherein the feature functions are learned, at least in part, by calculating a plurality of impurity measures for candidate feature functions and selecting one of the candidate feature functions based on the relative values of the impurity measures; and storing the feature functions of the audience member function in an audience repository.

    Abstract: This disclosure presents methods and systems to perform fairway analysis on a computing system to automate tasks. The automation of the fairway analysis can reduce bias and uncertainty introduced by a user using their own set of assumptions, estimations, and preferred sequencing of rules and algorithms. The described processes can receive initial input parameters describing the area of interest (AOI) and a geological age range. The processes can retrieve appropriate geological and stratigraphic parameters using the initial input parameters. The combined input parameters can then be geoprocessed using age-aware rules and a determined sequence of algorithms and rules to generate synthesized geological data that can be upscaled and transformed into one or more chance maps indicating the presence and effectiveness of various hydrocarbon elements. The chance maps can be amalgamated and processed to produce a prospective map indicating the likelihood of success of further exploration of the specified AOI.

The dried interconnect structures exhibit a conductivity equal to or greater than 1×105 S/m without having to be subjected to any post-processing sintering treatment.

In some implementations, an access point (AP) establishes a restricted TWT session for one or more wireless stations (STAs) associated with latency sensitive traffic, the restricted TWT session including restricted TWT service periods (SPs) during which the AP reserves access to the wireless medium for only the one or more STAs associated with the latency sensitive traffic. The AP transmits a clear-to-send (CTS) frame at a start of each restricted TWT SP, the CTS frame indicating to other STAs that the wireless medium is unavailable for a duration of the respective restricted TWT SP. The AP transmits latency sensitive data to or receives latency sensitive data from the one or more STAs during at least one of the restricted TWT SPs.

    Abstract: A process for shutting down a hydroprocessing reactor and for removing catalyst from the reactor, wherein the reactor includes a quench gas distribution system. The process comprises shutting off hydrocarbon feed to the reactor, stripping hydrocarbons from the catalyst, and cooling the reactor to a first threshold reactor temperature in the range of from 375-425° F. (190-218° C.). At least a portion of circulating gaseous medium flowing to the reactor is then routed through a temporary heat exchanger and cooling the gas to not less than 40° F. (4° C.). Once cooled, mixing the cooled gas with the circulating gaseous medium flowing to the reactor. Continuing steps routing and cooling until a second threshold temperature is reached wherein the reactor temperature is in a range between 120° F. and 250° F. (49° C.-121° C.). The reactor can then be purged with N2 gas, followed by introducing water into the reactor via the quench gas distribution system. The catalyst can then be safely removed from the reactor.

    Abstract: The present application discloses methods for extracting melanin from a fungus, where the fungus is Inonotus obliquus (chaga), Fomes fomentarius, Ganoderma tsugae, or Phellinus igniarius. In the methods, a sample of the fungus is dried and pulverized to form a powder sample. The powder sample is refluxed in a sodium hydroxide solution to form a mixture. The mixture is separated into a liquid portion and a solid portion via centrifugation or vacuum filtration, resulting in the liquid portion including the melanin extract. The separated liquid portion including the melanin is acidified with a hydrochloric acid solution to precipitate the melanin. The precipitated melanin is then isolated via centrifugation or vacuum filtration such that the melanin collects as the pellet or precipitate. The melanin precipitate is then purified by washing with dilute HCl and deionized, distilled water. The purified melanin is then dried to produce the extracted fungal melanin.
