  • Patent number: 11238173
Abstract: A data storage management system comprises enhanced capabilities for automatically discovering operational characteristics of data storage devices installed in the system. A user interface enables end-users to submit requests for storage resources ranging from a simple request for a certain amount of storage space to more complex requests that specify the type of storage technology, the manufacturer, the I/O speed of the storage device, etc. The end-user also may include an expiration timeframe for the requested storage space. The system identifies storage devices that are suitable to the end-user's request, automatically provisions the storage space (e.g., LUN), and assigns it to the requestor. The assigned storage space may automatically expire, based on user-requested or system-provided expiration timeframes. Expired storage space is returned to a logical pool of available resources so that it may be assigned in response to other requests.

  • Publication number: 20220022801
Abstract: A technology is described for determining an intended movement from neuromuscular signals. An example method (800) includes receiving electromyography (EMG) data corresponding to single-ended channels of an electrode array (810), where EMG signals are detected by electrodes comprising the single-ended channels of the electrode array and the EMG signals are converted to the EMG data. Determining differential channel pairs for the single-ended channels of the electrode array (820) and extracting feature data from the EMG data of the differential channel pairs (830). Thereafter a feature data set is selected from the feature data of the differential channel pairs (840) and the feature data set is input to a decode model configured to correlate the feature data set to an intended movement (850). Decode output is received from the decode model indicating the intended movement (860) and the decode output is provided to a device (870).

  • Patent number: 11234345
Abstract: A data center, an air handling system, and a method for installing equipment in a data center enable internal differential pressure relief within the data center. A volumetric container has mounting location(s) for heat generating information technology (IT) component(s) positioned within the volumetric container. A cold aisle on one side and a hot aisle on another side of the IT component(s) that have air passages for air cooling. A cooling unit is coupled to the volumetric container to pressurize the cold aisle with supply air and draws return air from the hot aisle. An air barrier is attached across an air passage between the cold and the hot aisles. A differential pressure relief mechanism is attached to the air barrier. The differential pressure relief mechanism is configured to open in responses to an air pressure difference across the differential pressure relief mechanism exceeding a pressure threshold.

  • Patent number: 11229512
Abstract: A diametrically adjustable endoprosthesis includes a controlled expansion element extending along at least a portion of a graft and is supported by a stent. The controlled expansion element diametrically constrains and limits expansion of the endoprosthesis. Upon deployment from a smaller, delivery configuration, the endoprosthesis can expand to the initial diameter set by the controlled expansion element. Thereafter, the endoprosthesis can be further diametrically expanded (e.g., using balloon dilation) by mechanically altering the controlled expansion element.
