  • Publication number: 20220014378
Abstract: A multimodal communication system includes a vehicle controller that controls one or more systems or subsystems of an unmanned vehicle. The communication controller manages communication and logical access to the unmanned vehicle. One or more sensors in communication with the communication controller detects and measures physical properties in proximity to the unmanned vehicle. Transceivers receive the unmanned vehicle commands that are transmitted simultaneously or concurrently and a monotonic generator generates a monotonic object each time the unmanned vehicle's operating state changes. The communication controller executes the first unmanned vehicle command received that has the correct cryptographic hash validating knowledge of the unmanned vehicle's current operating state.

Abstract: A method consistent with embodiments of the present disclosure may begin with retrieving a message to be electronically transmitted. The method may proceed with digitally securing the message by generating a first digital signature for the message. The first digital signature may be added to a list of digital signatures for inclusion in the message. A list of allowed anticipated changes may be retrieved. In accordance to embodiments disclosed herein, the message may be pre-signed for the allowed anticipated changes. Pre-signing the message may comprise editing the message with each allowed anticipated change, generating a subsequent digital signature for the message edited with the allowed anticipated change, and adding the subsequent digital signature to the list of digital signatures for inclusion in the electronic message. This process may be repeated for each allowed anticipated change in the allowed anticipated changes.

Abstract: A rotary power tool comprises a drive mechanism including an electric motor and a transmission, a housing enclosing at least a portion of the drive mechanism, a spindle rotatable in response to receiving torque from the drive mechanism, a first ratchet coupled for co-rotation with the spindle, a second ratchet rotationally fixed to the housing, a sleeve bushing on an interior of the housing, and a bearing arranged between the spindle and the sleeve bushing and rotatably supporting the spindle. The bearing has an outer race. The spindle is movable relative to the housing in response to contact with a workpiece, causing the first and second ratchets to engage and the spindle to reciprocate while rotating. The outer race of the bearing moves along the sleeve bushing during reciprocation of the spindle when the first ratchet and second ratchet are engaged.
