  • Patent number: 11485237
Abstract: A multi-motor switching system and method for obtaining a global optimization of performance criteria that takes into account variables and conditions across an entire driving cycle. The controller of the system is adapted to conduct a global optimization in that it determines the most optimal distribution of motor loads over an entire trip or driving cycle, as opposed to sequentially determining the optimized solution for a given point of time and localized set of current condition. In one embodiment where the control system provides for global optimization, the controller receives trip information through a trip planning tool. The controller utilizes the trip information to generate a driving cycle and further incorporates this information into the optimization process performed by the controller to determine the optimal solution for the entire trip.

  • Publication number: 20220274876
Abstract: Methods of preparing a cementitious structure for carbon dioxide (CO2) sequestration are provided. The cementitious structure may be a cast in a mold. First, a cementitious composite material comprising binder and water is conditioned, for example, in a mold by exposing the cementitious composite material to ?about 50% to ?about 80% relative humidity for ?about 3 hours to ?about 24 hours. The cementitious composite material is then dried to remove ?about 10% by weight of initial water in the cementitious composite material. The cementitious structure formed is capable of a carbon dioxide uptake level of greater than or equal to about 6% by weight binder. The cementitious structure has a tensile strain capacity of ?about 1% and a uniaxial tensile strength of ?about 1 MPa. The method may also include carbonating the cementitious structure, following by an optional further hydration process.

  • Patent number: 11418404
Abstract: The predictive overlay network architecture of the present invention improves the performance of applications distributing digital content among nodes of an underlying network such as the Internet by establishing and reconfiguring overlay network topologies over which associated content items are distributed. The present invention addresses not only frequently changing network congestion, but also interdependencies among nodes and links of prospective overlay network topologies. The present invention provides a prediction engine that monitors metrics and predicts the relay capacity of individual nodes and links (as well as demand of destination nodes) over time to reflect the extent to which the relaying of content among the nodes of an overlay network will be impacted by (current or future) underlying network congestion.

  • Publication number: 20220232554
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support allocation of a group-based configured uplink resource for idle mode uplink transmissions. User equipments (UEs) may be grouped geographically and/or functionally and may have sidelink communications among themselves, and may be in an inactive mode or an idle mode. A base station may allocation one or multiple configured uplink resources to the group of UEs, where the base station may be aware of the group based on signaling from a UE of the group. The group of UEs may determine which UE of the group may use the allocated resources, and in which occasions. Based on the determination, one or more UEs of the group may transmit an uplink message to the base station using the configured uplink resource assigned to the group.

  • Publication number: 20220232474
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A connected mode UE may share reference signal configurations with an idle/inactive mode UE via a sidelink transmission. The connected mode UE may transmit a sidelink transmission including one or more reference signal configurations over a sidelink channel to an idle/inactive mode UE. The reference signal configuration may include reference signal resources that correspond to one or more beams that are tracked by the connected mode UE, such as an active downlink beam or beams adjacent to an active downlink beam. The idle/inactive mode UE may use the reference signal configuration to monitor for and receive one or more reference signals from the base station. In some examples, the connected mode UE may determine to transmit the sidelink transmission based on satisfaction of a trigger condition, such as a proximity of the idle/inactive mode UE to the connected mode UE.

  • Publication number: 20220222779
Abstract: Disclosed is an automatic reorientation method from an SPECT three-dimensional reconstructed image to a standard view, wherein a rigid registration parameter P between a SPECT three-dimensional reconstructed image A and a standard SPECT image R is extracted by using a rigid registration algorithm to form a mapping database of A and P; features of the image A are extracted by using a three-layer convolution module, and are converted into a 6-dimensional feature vector T after three times of full connection, and T is applied to A through a spatial transformer network to form an orientation result predicted by the network, thus establishing the automatic reorientation model of the SPECT three-dimensional reconstructed image. The SPECT three-dimensional reconstructed image to be orientated is taken as an input. A standard view can be obtained by using the automatic reorientation model of the SPECT three-dimensional reconstructed image for automatic turning.

  • Patent number: 11159113
Abstract: In the fault-tolerant direct thrust-force control (FT-DTC) method, the generalized Clarke transform matrix and its inverse matrix are derived according to the fault-tolerant phase currents. The stator fluxes in ?-? plane are deduced based on these. Based on the requirement of circular stator flux trajectory, virtual stator fluxes are defined, and then compensatory voltages in the ?-? plane are obtained. Actual stator voltages in the ?-? plane are calculated by modulation function of voltage source inverter. Combining with the compensatory voltages, the actual stator voltages and the stator currents, the virtual stator fluxes and the thrust-force are estimated by the flux and thrust-force observers. The thrust-force reference, the stator flux amplitude reference, the observed thrust-force and virtual stator flux are applied to predict virtual stator voltage references.
